All are great names! In order of preference:

[name_f][/name_f]
    [name_f][/name_f]
  1. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Davis[/name_m]- a refreshing classic! It has a little more flair than [name_m]David[/name_m] but still feels like a sturdy, handsome name.

    [name_f][/name_f]
  2. [name_f][/name_f]
  3. [name_f][/name_f]

James-the ultimate classic name. [name_f]Forever[/name_f] handsome and approachable, yet preppy and distinguished.

    [name_f][/name_f]
  4. [name_f][/name_f]
  5. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m]- the most trendy of your options, whether that matters to you or not. It’s preppy yet solid!

    [name_f][/name_f]
  6. [name_f][/name_f]

It’s difficult to pick a favourite here! I’ll tell you why I like each one [name_f][/name_f]-

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- I love the nature connections, the snappy one syllable sound, the mix of established and modern in style.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]James[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- a warm classic. It sounds gentle and friendly, handsome and sturdy.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Davis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- a more interesting [name_m]David[/name_m], sounds sprightly and cheerful but also intelligent and smart.

[name_f][/name_f]

I think [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] just ‘wins’ for me. I have a [name_m]Beck[/name_m] so clearly river related one syllable names are my thing!

In order:

[name_f][/name_f]
    [name_f][/name_f]
  1. [name_m]Davis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- I LOVE last names as first names (as a mom to a [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m] and a [name_m]Watson[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- and can’t use [name_m]Davis[/name_m] since it’s a close family friend’s last name). [name_m]Davis[/name_m] is such a great and won’t make people do a triple take like wait what is your kid’s name LOL. It’s very handsome and strong sounding, but still soft with that S ending.
  2. [name_f][/name_f]
  3. [name_m]James[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- very classic, never a bad choice ever. It works with almost any last name, middle name, and will work whether your baby is a newborn or 99.
  4. [name_f][/name_f]
  5. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- trendy in my opinion and losing its flair to me. I do love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], but it’s trending downward in my eyes and doesn’t feel as “classic” as [name_m]Davis[/name_m] and [name_m]James[/name_m].
  6. [name_f][/name_f]
    [name_f][/name_f]
  1. [name_m]James[/name_m]- reminds me of knights and kings despite it’s continuing popularity across all generations (and it’s definitely popular for a reason!)
  2. [name_f][/name_f]
  3. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]- I just love the sound of [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and its nature connections despite its trendiness
  4. [name_f][/name_f]
  5. [name_m]Davis[/name_m]- I just think of the last name but it would be a fresh choice and the nickname [name_m]Davy[/name_m] is really sweet!
  6. [name_f][/name_f]

Ooh this is tough! I’m very torn between [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and [name_m]Davis[/name_m]!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] → contemporary and cool but with a pleasing nature association and a kind of gentleness too

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Davis[/name_m] → it balances well between classic and contemporary [name_f][/name_f]- rugged but refined [name_f][/name_f]- and I like the ‘AV’ sound

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] least favourite is [name_m]James[/name_m]. Nothing objectively wrong with it [name_f][/name_f]- a classic, solid choice [name_f][/name_f]- it just holds no spark for me

[name_m]Davis[/name_m] is the most unique so I’d go with that one.

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] & [name_m]Davis[/name_m] are my favorite – to tiebreak, it would really depend on what vibe you’re going for: [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is handsome and laid-back, with a trendy but established sound & a summery feel, while [name_m]Davis[/name_m] is underrated, classic, & grounded.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]James[/name_m] is lovely as well, though he doesn’t have the same spark as the others. I much prefer [name_m]James[/name_m] with a fun nickname, whether [name_m]Jamie[/name_m] or [name_m]Jem[/name_m]!

i’m going to give davis my vote! it actually feels like the perfect midway point between brooks and james- classic, preppy, and handsome! :evergreen_tree:

I like your style! They are all great but [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is the winner for me. It’s short, spelling intuitive, known but not overly common. [name_m]Just[/name_m] checks lots of great boxes for me.

[name_m]James[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]— Wonderfully familiar and classic, but I feel like it’s mostly used as a middle name now (including on one of my own sons) so it feels fresh as a first name.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Davis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]— More unexpected, but still familiar. I like it.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]— Not a bad choice, but my least favorite, mostly because there aren’t any good nickname options.

All three are lovely :light_blue_heart:

[name_f][/name_f]

However my favourite is [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] he’s handsome, has a recognisable fun sound that has a cowboy outdoorsy flair and gorgeous nature meaning conjuring up pretty imagery of a little boy paddling in a little stream within the summer sun.

[name_f][/name_f]

It’s hard to choose a least favourite as I love all three however I think the name I would least likely use up front is [name_m]James[/name_m] just because I’m not keen on the meaning off the name [name_m]James[/name_m].

[name_m]James[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]— Wonderfully familiar and classic, but I feel like it’s mostly used as a middle name now (including on one of my own sons) so it feels fresh as a first name.

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]— Not a bad choice, but my least favorite, mostly because there aren’t any good nickname options.

[name_m]Davis[/name_m] is my favorite. It’s fresh, known but not common.

All are great options!! [name_m]Favorite[/name_m] to least favorite:

[name_f][/name_f]
    [name_f][/name_f]
  1. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- one of my favorite names! It’s trending right now, but I think it’s a name that has so many different vibes that it will just fit with the wearer perfectly. I know two people who have used the name, and one family uses more uncommon classics for their kids, and the other uses modern trendy names. I’ve also met two older men with the name, one is a paleontologist/professor and the other is a man who lives in a large cabin in the Cascades haha. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is so versatile!
  2. [name_f][/name_f]
  3. [name_m]Davis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- feels so much more fresh than [name_m]David[/name_m] even though they sound so similar. Last names are great first name options right now! I actually know a man with the name, which is when I first heard it and loved it. Solid, fresh choice that is also uncommon enough that he probably wouldn’t know any others with the name.
  4. [name_f][/name_f]
  5. [name_m]James[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- still a solid choice, but I put it here because it is more common. It’s a timeless choice and it’s popular because it’s a great name!
  6. [name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]

Like I said, all options are great options!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] all 3! I give the nod to [name_m]Davis[/name_m]- charming and traditional sounding with a little flare.

I think [name_m]Davis[/name_m] is probably my favourite of the three [name_f][/name_f]- there’s something about it that feels both strong and approachable. And I love the nickname [name_m]Davy[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- it adds a sweet, slightly whimsical touch that gives the name more personality.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]James[/name_m] is lovely too, especially with the nickname [name_m]Jamie[/name_m], which I think is super charming and softens the classic feel of the name, but maybe a little too common depending on what you’re going for.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] might be my least favourite of the bunch [name_f][/name_f]- I’m not totally sure why! It’s nice, but it doesn’t quite click for me the same way [name_m]Davis[/name_m] or [name_m]James[/name_m] do. Although it does feels fresh and stylish, with a touch of [name_m]Southern[/name_m] charm.

I think all three could be serious contenders!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Davis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- I just am head over heels for this one [name_f][/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]James[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- I love a timeless name!
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- this was a last name of an ex so while I love it I would never use it.

[name_m]James[/name_m], I like it very much

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Davis[/name_m], silimar too [name_m]David[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m], because I am no fan of Last Names as first
