I found out we are having a boy. Now I’m second guessing the names I thought I’d chosen.
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] ([name_m]Malakai[/name_m]) or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
Looking for more ideas. Middle name will be [name_u]Linden[/name_u]. Can’t be a word or place name (sound bad with last name, sounds like “dick”, sad but true. Unless I can convince husband to change it before baby is born…)
I like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]/[name_m]Judah[/name_m] as well, but have close family members with those names. I also like [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] but can’t use them for other reasons.
Maybe someone else will see a pattern or style that I like from that list, because I just feel lost! Help!
Okay firstly would plain [name_u]Kai[/name_u] be of interest? Second of all I see your kinda style. It’s modern and hip. Names like [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] , [name_m]Holden[/name_m] , [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] , [name_m]Maverick[/name_m] , [name_u]Brady[/name_u] , [name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_u]Carter[/name_u]. Not too popular but not unpopular either.
I love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]Linden[/name_u]. [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] is one of those weird names I will never understand, so that’s that. Suggestions…[name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m], [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_u]Finlay[/name_u]?
I love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]Linden[/name_u], but will also second the name [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] if you are unsure about [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m], [name_m]Xander[/name_m], [name_m]Percival[/name_m], [name_m]Roland[/name_m], [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m], [name_m]Milo[/name_m], [name_u]Orion[/name_u], [name_u]Jericho[/name_u], [name_u]Porter[/name_u], or [name_m]Theon[/name_m] might be of interest to you.
I absolutely love nearly all of your choices! [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] would be my least favourite of them all tbh. [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is lovely, especially with [name_u]Linden[/name_u], although it’s becoming very popular recently. how about [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]? It means bear, so to me it has the same kind of feel as [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - traditional but sweet.
A lot of the ones suggested are ones close friends have used recently and I know that no one owns a name, but I just can’t do it.
I do like [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]/[name_m]Xander[/name_m] a lot though. And I don’t mind [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] either.
