Boy names starting with 'V'

Hello!

I am trying to come up with some possible baby boy names that start with the letter V for my future children. Being from a Russian-speaking and Eastern European family where babies are typically named after deceased relatives by either using the exact name or another name that starts with the same letter, I would like to continue that tradition with my first child. Specifically, I would like to use a name that honors my late uncle, [name_m]Vladimir[/name_m]. Because I believe that name might be challenging for a child growing up in the US, I would prefer to use a name that starts with the letter V and is also one that can be easily pronounced (and spelled) both in English and Russian. For example, if my husband and I were to have a girl, I might consider [name_f]Violet[/name_f] since it can be easily translated to [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] in Russian.
Basically, I’m looking for a ‘language-fluid’ name that has both a Russian and English version

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

This is tricky. I don’t know how well these translate.

[name_m]Vincent[/name_m]
[name_m]Victor[/name_m]
[name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_u]Vernon[/name_u]
[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]

I tried my best…
[name_m]Victor[/name_m]
[name_u]Valentine[/name_u]/ [name_m]Valentin[/name_m]
[name_u]Vega[/name_u]
[name_m]Von[/name_m]
[name_m]Vulcan[/name_m]
[name_m]Valter[/name_m]

[name_m]Victor[/name_m] is a favorite of mine. Unfortunately my surname prevents me from using it.

[name_m]Vincent[/name_m] is my favorite

[name_m]Vincent[/name_m]*
[name_m]Vilhelm[/name_m]
[name_m]Vandyke[/name_m]
[name_u]Valentine[/name_u]

[name_m]Viktor[/name_m]
[name_m]Vance[/name_m]
[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]
[name_m]Verner[/name_m]
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m]

My favourite V boy names are [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Vern[/name_m] and [name_m]Ville[/name_m].

My favourite V boy names are [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] “[name_m]Vince[/name_m]”, [name_m]Vern[/name_m] and [name_m]Ville[/name_m].

I think [name_m]Viktor[/name_m]/[name_m]Victor[/name_m] is certainly the best option for an international V name. It’s head and shoulders above the other suggestions in terms of fitting into a lot of different language contexts, including English and Russian.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Vlad[/name_m] on its own? My husband and i love this name and we are australian!
