Boy Names-- Strong Meaning and no "n" Ending

Hello,
While I really tend to like boy names ending in “n”, I feel we already have too many of these in our home! ([name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s name ends w/ “n”, our 2 boy dogs names end w/ “n”, our 2 year old son’s name ends w/ “n” ([name_m]Nolan[/name_m]). We found out our second child will also be a boy and I really just wish for something different / fresh. [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] means “Champion, Victorious, [name_m]Noble[/name_m]” which I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]. I feel it gives him something of a legacy to grow into, and I’d also like for our second son to have this sort of thing. So I’d love to hear as many suggestions as possible of nice sounding boy names that do not end w/ “n” and hold a strong meaning. We are [name_m]Christian[/name_m] so names along this line are good or really any name that means an admirable attribute (ex: strong, noble, integrity, loyal, soldier…etc.) Any assistance would be SOOOOOOO greatly appreciated
Thank-you.

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]-Means champion warrior
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]-means laughter (Which I love but it is not a STRONG meaning-but if one can make you laugh it is admirable)!
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]: Powerful
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]-Strong
[name_m]Angus[/name_m]-Strong
[name_m]Anders[/name_m]-Brave
[name_m]Fergus[/name_m]-[name_m]Manly[/name_m]

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] (“strong”, “manly”)
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] (“God is my strength”)
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] (“God strengthens”)
[name_m]Bernard[/name_m] (“strong”, “brave as a bear”)
[name_m]Arnold[/name_m] (“ruler”, “strong as an eagle”)
[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] (“spear strength”)
[name_m]Angus[/name_m] (“one strength”)

[name_m]Conall[/name_m] (“strong as a wolf”)
[name_u]Valentine[/name_u] (“healthy”, “strong”)
[name_m]Miles[/name_m] (“soldier”, “merciful”)

[name_m]Dominic[/name_m] was my first thought. It means “of the [name_m]Lord[/name_m].” Other ideas:

[name_m]Evander[/name_m] - “good man”
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - “gift of God”
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] - “God is good”
[name_m]Amias[/name_m] - “friend”
[name_m]Gerard[/name_m] - “brave spear” (close enough?)
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] - “peaceful ruler”
[name_m]Edward[/name_m] - “rich/blessed guard”
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] - “rich/blessed protector”
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] - “victory of the people”
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] - “lion” (perhaps in reference to the lion as a symbol of [name_m]Christ[/name_m]?)

This is hard. I can think of plenty of names with positive meanings, but only a few with “strong” meanings…

Thank-you so much for taking the time to share suggestions. There are some good names here. I’ve added [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] to my list  I also really like [name_m]Anders[/name_m] but have a close friend w/ a little boy of this name. Now to bring the names to hubby for critique. (That really is where things get difficult!

[name_m]Abel[/name_m] “breath”
[name_u]August[/name_u] “majestic and venerable”
[name_m]Christoph[/name_m]/[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] “[name_m]Christ[/name_m] bearing”
[name_u]Dexter[/name_u] “right-handed/ skilled"
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] “the lord is my god”
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] “happy and prosperous”
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] “battle worthy"
[name_m]Zane[/name_m] “god is gracious”

I’m currently crushing on [name_m]Rainier[/name_m] which nameberry lists as meaning ‘wise army’.

Where on earth did you get these meanings? Most of them are incorrect.

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] - Probably Irish meaning Deer Lover, possibly Scandinavian meaning God Spear (not the [name_m]Christian[/name_m] God though)
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - He laughs. You were close there.
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] - From a surname, in turn from diminutive of [name_f]Emma[/name_f], from a [name_m]German[/name_m] element meaning “whole”
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - Help
[name_m]Angus[/name_m] - One Strength
[name_m]Anders[/name_m] - [name_m]Man[/name_m]
[name_m]Fergus[/name_m] - [name_m]Man[/name_m] of Vigour

[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] means gift of God
[name_m]Kendrick[/name_m] means royal ruler, champion
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] means noble, illustrious

you can search through name meanings here: https://nameberry.com/search/advanced

p.s. I really like [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_u]Grady[/name_u] They are both Irish, and fit together well!

Fun! I love the name [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]. [name_m]How[/name_m] about:

[name_m]Louis[/name_m]/[name_m]Lewis[/name_m]- renowned warrior
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]- bear
[name_m]Edward[/name_m]- wealthy guardian

I never been asked to clarify/prove my sources before… (!) Also without being too pedantic most of our meanings were actually the same.
