I’m interested (mostly curious for boys names as I have a few solid names that I absolutely love) in names that fit this imagery. Individual names or combos. Nothing too popular or common. @moonkai I adore your sons name. It is the epitome of what I want in my names. A foresty, starry, natural feel and association. [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], is so handsome. [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] always makes me think of cirrus clouds, maybe that’s why it has that windy, natural feel? I love that. [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] is on my list too!

I like the idea of [name_u]Frost[/name_u], Polaris and [name_m]Sirius[/name_m]. They have such cool meaning and associations. But in reality, I doubt I’d use them. Azhar and [name_m]Aquilo[/name_m] really intrigue me.

@lovemysweeties I like alot of those names! [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], [name_m]Pine[/name_m], [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and [name_f]Arbor[/name_f] stand out to me especially. Somehow I’m drawn to the names that more obviously fit the imagery. Actual nature names and celestial names as opposed to other names that just have the sound or image that fits.
With Snowden, I keep hearing snowed in, LOL! Winterhawk is interesting, I quite like it. I love [name_u]Winter[/name_u] on a boy, and bird names, yes! Maybe it’s a liiittle over the top tho.
@columbiacharm I don’t think I’d use many (if any) of the names I listed either, but they were fun to think up.
[name_m]Aquilo[/name_m] is the [name_m]Roman[/name_m] equivalent to Boreas (Greek god of the [name_u]North[/name_u] or NE wind)
Azhar is an Arabic name that apparently means clear/shining/luminous.

I love the name [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] for the very reason that it draws up images of rugged beauty and manliness. It’s ardent, but gentle. I’ll probably use it as a middle name someday!

@sroseryan Oh, I love that image with [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]! Rugged yet gentle. I would love to have that in my boys names, I think that is a little bit the element I try for. Outdoorsy and rugged, yet natural and somewhat down to earth (literally lol). Names that have a lot of potential.
