Boys name from Jeanette?

Hubby’s grandmother is close to passing away. I thought it would be nice to try and incorporate her name as a middle name for our son. Her name is [name]Jeanette[/name]. Any ideas?? [name]Jett[/name] is all I can come up with…

Jeannette comes from Jean, which is a feminization of John. You could just use any of the John variants. There are tons.

Johan
Ivan
Evan
Ian
Sean
Hans
Jack
Jonas
Johannes
Hank
Giovanni
etc.

Meaning, origin and history of the name Jeanne - Behind the Name (Jeannette is a diminutive of Jeanne.) From there, click John, and choose a version you like, maybe even ‘just’ John.

[name]Jean[/name], [name]John[/name], [name]Jonathan[/name]

the possibilities are endless, favs in bold.

From Nameberry’s [name]John[/name] page:

"[name]Jack[/name], [name]Jackie[/name], [name]Jahn[/name], [name]Jaxon[/name], [name]Jhan[/name], [name]Jhon[/name], [name]Jian[/name], [name]Jianni[/name], [name]Jock[/name], [name]Joen[/name], [name]Johan[/name], [name]Johne[/name], [name]Johnee[/name], [name]Johnie[/name], [name]Johnnie[/name], [name]Johnny[/name], [name]Johnson[/name], [name]Johon[/name], [name]Jon[/name], [name]Jones[/name], [name]Jonni[/name], [name]Jonnie[/name], [name]Jonny[/name], Jonté, [name]Jovanney[/name], [name]Jovanni[/name], [name]Jovonni[/name], [name]Juwan[/name]

The international versions of [name]John[/name] are perennial classics in their own cultures: the French [name]Jean[/name], the Irish [name]Sean[/name], the Scottish [name]Ian[/name], the Welsh [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Ewan[/name], the Italian [name]Giovanni[/name], the Spanish [name]Juan[/name], the [name]German[/name] [name]Johann[/name]/[name]Johannes[/name], the Slavic [name]Jan[/name], the Russian [name]Ivan[/name], and on and on."

[name]Jet[/name] isnt a bad smoosh of [name]Jeanette[/name], for some reason when i scramble it up i somehow see [name]Etienne[/name] - a french [name]Stephen[/name], but it makes me think of [name]Ethan[/name] which has a few various international spellings of its own that mix up its sounds.

ps could always try her middle name or the first and middle together for more inspiration or even her last or maiden name.

Would [name]John[/name] [name]Bennett[/name] work as a suggestion?
