Boys Names for sibling of Sebastian & Paulina

We have 2 kids & are expecting #3 any day. We have a list of girls names picked out but are struggling a bit with boys names.

Our kids are [name]Sebastian[/name] & [name]Paulina[/name] which are both classic names, but not too common in Vancouver, BC, [name]Canada[/name] (where we live). Our last name is [name]Smith[/name]. We want to pick names that have more than one syllable (at least) to ‘flow’ with the siblings’ names. We also want to avoid names that start with either an S or a P. We want to pick a name that is classic like the other kids but not too common. Our list (that both Mum & Dad approve of!) consists of:

  • [name]Harrington[/name]
  • [name]Cormack[/name] (family name)
  • [name]Hugo[/name]
  • [name]Jarvis[/name]
  • Heston

We have said nay to:

  • [name]Balthazar[/name]
  • [name]Asher[/name]
  • [name]Atticus[/name]
  • [name]Seamus[/name]
  • [name]Turner[/name]
  • [name]Spencer[/name]
  • [name]Nathaniel[/name]
  • [name]Hayden[/name]

Any comments about the above? Any other suggestions?? HELP appreciated!

[name]Lovely[/name] names! S & P both feel very Continental Europe to my ear, and [name]Hugo[/name] is the best match for that! [name]Harrington[/name] and [name]Jarvis[/name] are elegant enough to work, although both are much more last-namey than [name]Sebastian[/name]. [name]Cormack[/name] is very nice, although very Gaelic with French-like [name]Sebastian[/name]. So [name]Hugo[/name] gets my vote, but they each have something to over!

Best wishes!

I also love [name]Hugo[/name], a very cool and classy name. I also love love love the name [name]Cormac[/name] (ending with a ‘c’). I’m interested in your girls choices too, you have good taste!
Best wishes!

I can’t seem to figure out why I don’t like [name]Harrington[/name], because it has pretty much everything I love in a name…but sadly, even though that would normally be my top vote, I can’t get behind it! When I hear [name]Jarvis[/name] I keep thinking of the computer in Iron [name]Man[/name], though I doubt most people will make that connection.
[name]Hugo[/name] is nice, but awfully short compared to [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Paulina[/name]! But I still think that’s my favourite too.

Good luck!

I think [name]Harrington[/name] or Heston match the best.

I like both [name]Hugo[/name] and [name]Jarvis[/name] a lot! [name]Both[/name] do seem a little short to go with [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Paulina[/name] (love your kids’ names, by the way) but if that doesn’t bother you I really like those options.

In case you want more ideas, here are a few names that in my mind go with [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Paulina[/name]:

[name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Dashiell[/name]
[name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Ephraim[/name]
[name]Elliott[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Julian[/name]
[name]Leopold[/name]
[name]Lionel[/name]
[name]Malcom[/name]
[name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] (maybe too popular?)
[name]Quentin[/name]
[name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Victor[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] this is helpful! Would love to hear your girls’ list, too.

hmm, I would say heston or maybe harrington? I think harrington would be a cute sib set (nn [name]Harry[/name]?) love the names [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Paulina[/name]!
