So my husband and I are close to fully settled on Bianca for a girl but he’s a little worried that there aren’t many good boys name options that go with it. Can you think of anything? We want a name that is masculine and not super common?

[name_m]Matteo[/name_m] is what I also thought of. I can think of some other nice Italian or Italianish names, not sure if they’re too popular or not for you. [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] is fine. It’s got a pretty quality, and the nickname [name_f]Bee[/name_f] is cute. If you love it you should use it. I will admit it’s not my favorite: my reasons why are I find the sound kind of clunky and heavy “anc” like “ankh” or “anchor”, and it always reminds me of a snobby character from an 80s cartoon and of binaca or whatever the breath spray is. All that said, that’s just to dissect one person’s less than positive reaction and if I met a little [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] I’d probably like the name better!
