Boys' Names That Started As Girls' Names?

We all know of girls’ names that were originally for the boys ([name]Meredith[/name], [name]Carol[/name], etc), plus the trend of unisex names, which are typically first boys’ names, then move later into the gender-neutral arena.

But are there any reverse examples? That is, can you think of any names that in the past (or traditionally) were for girls but are now used by boys? Or is the trend always from boy to girl, and not vice versa?

[name]Esme[/name] was originally used for boys.

OK, so again, that’s a name that has gone from boys to the girls. But I was wondering if there were any names that had gone from the girls to the boys?

[name]Brett[/name] was originally feminine. It was the name of a female character in one of [name]Hemingway[/name]'s books. I’m pretty certain it’s a boys name now.
