I really love [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]! I also like [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], but [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is my preference.
I think I’m a little biased because I love the name [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] 
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] are also great choices because they sound softer next to [name_f]Ramona[/name_f].

I voted for [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] are nice too. I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] sounds nice but would hesitate because of [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] in the [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] [name_m]Cleary[/name_m] books.

I voted [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] & [name_f]Violet[/name_f], as I think those four sound best with [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]. Ultimately, my favourite would be [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], as I think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] really lightens up the heavier [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], and makes for quite a fresh and classy combo.
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] gets my vote, but I also really like [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], and [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] names.
[name_f]Astrid[/name_f] - don’t think the A beginning flows well with a ending. As a combo just doesn’t have the elusive magic for me
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] - love this with [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]. Hesitated because of [name_m]Cleary[/name_m] books, but then decided it’s not a problem at all and voted for it anyway!
[name_f]Cicely[/name_f] - like this and like with [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], but feel [name_f]Cicely[/name_f] gets a bit lost in this mix. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t spark together.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - this works fine, I’m just not a fan of [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
Mabli - this is lovely with [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and I feel it has that special quality. Takes [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] somewhere enticing and unusual.
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f] - I like this and it goes well, but hasn’t grown on me as much as others.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] - a favourite of mine and pretty with [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], but I feel others have more magic or spunkiness.
[name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] - my favourite combo I think. This is so much fun, so enticing and so hard to describe or quantify that, for me, it’s the one.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - love this too, modern and old at same time, spunky, feminine with a hint of whimsy.
I voted for [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], Mabli, [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f], all of which have a strength, funkiness and spunkiness about them. I love [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Cicely[/name_f] but just prefer the others in this case.

@araminty I have the same hesitations over [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f].
I really like [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] Mabli and [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. They are all fun additions to slightly more serious [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] (which is a strong and beautiful name).
I like Sarah1800’s suggestion of [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f], especially if you’re dreaming of 
.
I don’t know if I’m trying too hard to make it a name but I love the way Maevelyn sounds and I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] Maevelyn sounds really good together.

Well, I hesitate to comment but I’ll plunge forth, truly meaning no offense. I lived in [name_m]Boston[/name_m] for several years and had a dear friend named [name_f]Mona[/name_f]. We had both moved there about the same time, and after several months we couldn’t help but laugh and laugh, because with a [name_m]Boston[/name_m] accent her name sounded just like Moaner, and of course that’s what everyone started calling her. She was terrific and laughed about it herself but, uh, the name [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] is waaaay too reminiscent of that for me to love it. I’m sorry. I’m a [name_m]Cleary[/name_m] fan and everything. And I enjoy the energy and sparkle it exudes, in theory, but personally don’t think it sounds attractive spoken, especially when said the way I hear it said in [name_m]Boston[/name_m].
I do really like your ‘sun’ names though, and am myself partial to Solvei. ([name_m]Sol[/name_m]- vay). I also think the Icelandic name [name_m]Sindri[/name_m] would be great…I think it means sparkling (and was a male name but eh, so were lots of other names that are now feminine and vice versa). [name_m]Sindri[/name_m] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] would be cute!
And for some reason I really like [name_u]Fable[/name_u] in your set - [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] sounds all kinds of storybook and I like that. I also happen to love the nn [name_f]Faye[/name_f]/[name_f]Fae[/name_f].
I hope sincerely I haven’t rained on your parade, but I felt it worth mentioning the pronunciation issue I encountered. [name_m]Just[/name_m] so you can weigh it and discount it, if nothing else. Good luck!

This is strangely difficult for me!
I love the idea of [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Astrid[/name_f]. It looks great on paper and has a fabulously strong yet fun image to me, but those juxtaposing 'a’s give me slight pause.
In the end, I voted for [name_f]Cicely[/name_f], Mabli, and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], as they add a nice lightness to [name_f]Ramona[/name_f].

And don’t worry — I’m not expecting everyone to like [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]! The “mona” part sounds exactly like “moaner” in my (English) accent, but it doesn’t really bother me. We’d try to avoid [name_f]Mona[/name_f] as a nickname, though — I’m thinking [name_u]Rue[/name_u], maybe [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] or even [name_m]Sol[/name_m] (with [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] in the middle that is, which I think is my fave!)
