Some repeats from @Greyblue but [name_u]Brit[/name_u] names to me are either “posh Brit”/Royal names:

[name_u]Alfie[/name_u], [name_m]Rupert[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Charles[/name_u], [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], [name_m]Albert[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Persephone[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Diana[/name_f] etc.

[name_u]Or[/name_u] else the “new-posh” names (for want of a better term), like [name_u]Tyson[/name_u] & [name_u]Paris[/name_u] Fury’s kids’ names: [name_u]Prince[/name_u], [name_f]Athena[/name_f], [name_u]Tyson[/name_u], [name_f]Valencia[/name_f], [name_m]Adonis[/name_m] & Venezuela.

Names I think of first are longer old fashioned names with nicknames, like…
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] -Hattie
[name_m]Alfred[/name_m] - [name_u]Alfie[/name_u]
[name_m]Percival[/name_m] - [name_u]Percy[/name_u]

[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_u]Blythe[/name_u]
[name_f]Maude[/name_f]
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f]

[name_m]Louis[/name_m]
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
[name_u]Arthur[/name_u]
[name_u]Bentley[/name_u]
[name_m]Phillip[/name_m]
[name_m]Cedric[/name_m]
[name_u]Beckett[/name_u]
[name_u]Wesley[/name_u]
[name_m]Chester[/name_m]

I’m British and these are some classic names the British have often used.

Amelia
Emily
Emma
Charlotte
Elizabeth
Lucy
Alice
Catherine
Kate/Katie
Sarah
Hannah
Louise
Eleanor
Mary
Julia
Laura
Amelie
Holly
Chloe
Rose
Iris
Florence
Claire/Clara
Victoria
Anne/a
Abigail
Imogen
Lily
Megan
Lauren
Grace
Isabella/Isabel
Jane

Harriet has been used, but it certainly isn’t as popular as it was. We have a long history of using flower names. Rose is super common as a middle at the moment, same as the USA, but it is rarer as a first name, which is a shame. Diana is rarer than you might think over here, despite the super popular late Princess. Jane is currently out of favour, but I think she will return once more.

Boys
George
William
David
James
Thomas
Arthur
Alfred (usually shortened to Alfie)
Jack
Charlie (Charles itself is now rarely used)
Daniel
Nathaniel
Samuel
Philip
Peter
Edward
Timothy

However, not many of these names, with the exception of James, William, George and Charlie are in vogue. Our number one name for a boy is Noah, but that’s a trend rather than a classic.

You’ve got a lot of good suggestions so far. I would say that the kind of names that [name_f]British[/name_f] people have depend a lot on their age, ethnicity, location and social class. For example, [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is pretty rare outside of southern [name_u]England[/name_u].
