I love [name_f]Bronte[/name_f]! It reminds me of the [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] sisters and I like the sort of strong but sweet sound – a bit like [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] and Jonty; a bit like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and [name_f]Bebe[/name_f]. I don’t mind it said -tee or -tay at the end either

I love love love Bronte!! I was introduced to her when I was younger through a book called “The Extremely Inconvenient Adventures of [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] Mettlestone” and I was obsessed, so naturally I also became obsessed with the name [name_f]Bronte[/name_f]. She’s not nearly as high on my list as she used to be, but I still love her dearly!! :growing_heart:

This feels like an unpopular opinion based on the other responses so far, but I don’t care for the name [name_f]Bronte[/name_f]. It sounds rather harsh and masculine to me (maybe subconsciously the “Bro” has been throwing me off, even though it’s said differently?) IDK, I’ve just never found it very pretty. [name_m]The[/name_m] literary connection it cool though. It could make a cool middle name.

[name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] is so lovely! I loved [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eyre[/name_f] and love classic lit so I was easily persuaded. I prefer her as a middle but she’s a really fun and a wonderful literary namesake. I really like the idea of something like [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f]! I prefer the accent like the [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] sisters, but I think it’s fine without, too!

I love Bronte, although I prefer the Brontë spelling. It seems mysterious and moody to me, and obviously has a literary feel as well. It gives autumnal and a little bit antique. And I love its meaning of thunder. :fallen_leaf::old_key::open_book::cloud_with_lightning_and_rain:

[name_f]Love[/name_f] it, though everyone will probably think of the [name_f]Brontë[/name_f] sisters

[name_f]Bronte[/name_f] is charming, outgoing, sporty, and a little “uppercrust” sounding.

I know two - both Brontee version (no one would get Brontae version in Oz). One of the two gets [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] as a nn half the time. [name_m]Other[/name_m] always [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] as far as can tell.

[name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] is such an energetic, preppy name that feels whimsy, autumnal and literary. I think [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] is the ultimate ‘it girl’ name and feels very cool. However I don’t think I’m cool enough to pull off [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f].

I like it but I don’t. That probably doesn’t make any sense.

I like [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] in theory, and really like how [name_f]BrontĂ«[/name_f] looks as a middle name, but I lowkey just hate the sound of it :sob: I feel like it would be such a cool girl, literary name but unfortunately it sounds so harsh and clunky to me. I just can’t make myself find it pretty even though I really wish I could!
