I recently stumbled upon the name [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]… I am really conflicted because my first reaction was no but the name just has something about it that is adorable. Am I going crazy or is it cute?
thx

I’ve always loved it too. Except the more traditional spelling - [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]. It’s a cute name but definitely grounded and sophisticated enough for a grown up. It’s known but uncommon so I love that too.
I prefer it spelled [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f], as [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f] is actually the male variant. It’s sweet and a very distinctive Welsh name.
I love the name [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f]! I knew a [name_f]Bronwyn[/name_f] growing up and always admired her name. She was also very strong-willed and intelligent and I always associate the name with those characteristics.
I like [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] (this spelling) okay, but there are other -wen names I like more (including [name_f]Anwen[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], and a bunch of [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] names, like [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwenore[/name_f])–probably because I like [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] all much more than [name_m]Bron[/name_m]/[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] (which are really the only nns I can think of for the [name_m]Bron[/name_m]- part of [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]!).
I love it!
Echoing the wyn being a man thing. But it’s really grown on me too, I don’t think you’re crazy at all
