[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]!
Here are my thoughts on the brother names:
Samuel/Sam-Completely perfect. [name_m]Classic[/name_m], handsome, kind, easy to say & spell but not over done. [name_m]Just[/name_m] has the right amount of lovable charm as [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] & [name_m]Sam[/name_m] could easily be playing at the creek or picking wild flowers together. So adorable!
August-I love [name_m]August[/name_m], too. It’s a great balance of rugged outdoorsy but also gentle. It’s a bit popular it seems…love the nns [name_m]Augie[/name_m] & [name_m]Gus[/name_m] though. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like those? They may or may not be unavoidable.
Jasper-I don’t know why I don’t like this one. It’s a name I should like, but something about the sound of [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] sounds sinister and/or goofy. Which is weird, because I like [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] a lot & don’t mind Jass. I like [name_m]James[/name_m] nn Jass.
Henry-Handsome lovable name, but every single boy I meet between the ages of newborn-thirteen or so is named [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. It’s out of control! I mostly like it for the nn [name_m]Hank[/name_m] anyway, & have recently become content with just [name_m]Hank[/name_m] as a full name.
Oscar-So cute. Quirky & vintage & not terribly common. Great with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
Asher-I like it. It has a cool vibe. Doesn’t feel completely cohesive with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] as some of the others, but it doesn’t not fit.
Miles-This one doesn’t do much for me. Not sure why. I like [name_m]Milo[/name_m] more. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is way common in my area, too.
Theo-Also super popular, but really cute. As much as I’m on board with just [name_m]Hank[/name_m], just [name_m]Theo[/name_m] seems like it needs to be a nn for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].
Jude-Ooh, beautiful. It’s calm & artsy and cool without trying. Not too popular either. I also love [name_m]Julian[/name_m] nn [name_m]Jude[/name_m].
Jack-Love it! Really popular, but honestly most of the Jacks I run across are usually [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] instead; and sometimes [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] nn [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] isn’t nearly as good as simple classic [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. Despite the popularity, still one of my favorites.
Otis-So cute! Not at all popular, but well know & easy to say & spell. [name_f]Vintage[/name_f], cuddly but masculine.
Sooo, in conclusion, my favorites are [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] & [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a close third.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
