Brother for Eliza

I had this posted in the wrong form, sorry!

Hi all! You have me convinced to use Eliza in the future! A sister will likely be Audrey, Bridget , Anna, Madeline, or Juliet. I would love some help with brother names with Eliza. I like traditional boy names with a twist, and names ending in -s. Some ideas that I think may work well are:

Eliza & Brooks

Eliza & Callum

Eliza & Declan

Eliza & Ford

Eliza & Griffin

Eliza & Hayes

Eliza & Shepard

Eliza & Caleb

Eliza & Harrison

Eliza & Samuel

Eliza & Owen

Eliza & Reid

Eliza & Beckett

Eliza & August

Eliza & Liam

Eliza & Nolan

Eliza & Henry

Eliza & Asher

Eliza & Theo

Eliza & Flynn

Eliza & Rhodes

Eliza & Sullivan

Eliza & Zane

Bonus if you can help me pair with some of the sister names above! I know Audrey and August don’t work. I’d really appreciate any suggestions or feedback! Thank you so much! :butterfly::white_heart:

I love your girl names. Re boys, would take off Reid and Zane - Reid is OK style wise but not as nice as your others (imo) and Zane doesn’t go well with your girls’ names. I would probably use Flynn with Bridget but I don’t think it’s my first pairing with Eliza. I also think of you were wanting to cull Asher and Hayes to me, a little less strong with Eliza but depends if you’re looking for that counter balance to the stronger sounds of Eliza…

Otherwise (and trying not to use the boys’ names you’ve listed though obv they could work - eg Bridget & Owen; Anna & Samuel; Audrey & Beckett):

Audrey & Jasper
Bridget & Oscar
Anna & Rafferty
Audrey & Simon
Madeline & Ambrose
Bridget & Zachary
Anna & Winston
Audrey & Hugo
Bridget & Hamish
Anna & Hugh
Madeline & Patrick
Bridget & Wells
Juliet & Hollis
Audrey & Rufus
Anna & Simon
Juliet & Darcy
Bridget & Farley
Audrey & Edmund (Ned/Ted)
Anna & Rupert
Bridget & Connor
Audrey & Briggs
Madeline & Ashby
Anna & Bennett
Bridget & Parker
Madeline & Alistair/ Alasdair
Juliet & Preston
Audrey & Tobias
Madeline & Sebastian
Anna & Banks
Bridget & Nicholas

@EloiseT Thank you so much! I agree completely with your comments on the boys’ names. I do like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], but also not convinced it if the best fit with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], ( although I am unable to use [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] as a first name, so maybe a middle?) [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m], () and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_m]Briggs[/name_m]! Out of respect for family friends, I am hesitant to use Ann@ and B€nn€tt together. I LOVE both so much, and could easily use [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. This combination is incredible, but I want to be sensitive to their situation. I will always love the name B€nn€tt though! [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and [name_u]Parker[/name_u] is also so cute, and it’s one I didn’t think of. I always think of [name_u]Parker[/name_u] as a more modern name, but there is also a traditional class to it. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_m]Preston[/name_m] is so sweet too! Unfortunately, my brother’s name is close to C0nn0r, and people sometimes call him that! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it with [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] though. I don’t know if this is relevant or not, and I realize it probably doesn’t matter to anyone else, but I’m going to say it here anyway. I would love to have four children someday. I don’t know if that will happen, but I will be blessed no matter what! You have so many incredible suggestions here, and have helped me start formulating a great sibling set! Thank you again! :butterfly::heart:

With [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], I like: [name_u]Brooks[/name_u], [name_u]Callum[/name_u], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_u]Beckett[/name_u], [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_u]Henry[/name_u], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]. I’d like [name_m]Shepard[/name_m] spelled [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] :person_shrugging:

I’d also make these pairs using your other faves:

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and…Brooks, [name_u]Declan[/name_u], [name_u]Hayes[/name_u], [name_u]Beckett[/name_u], and [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and…Sullivan, [name_m]Ford[/name_m], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]

Anna… and [name_u]Hayes[/name_u], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_u]Theo[/name_u]

Madeline… and [name_u]Henry[/name_u], [name_u]Asher[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and… [name_u]Griffin[/name_u], [name_u]Brooks[/name_u], [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]

Some suggestions with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]:

[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Robin[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Percy[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Toby[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Nathan[/name_m]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]

@Greyblue Thank you so much! The names you selected are some of my absolute favorites! [name_u]Declan[/name_u] is toward the top, as I love the meaning, the sound, and its [name_u]Irish[/name_u] roots. The only thing that causes me to hesitate is the alliteration with my last name (the second and third letters of each are different). Would it still bother you? I love how you paired the sibling names! And my favorites from your suggestions are: [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], [name_u]Finley[/name_u], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] ()!! Thank you again!:purple_heart:

I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Ford[/name_m] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_m]Caleb[/name_m].

@Harvest-Endellion Thank you so much!! There’s something about [name_m]Ford[/name_m] that is so cute but also classic! I love both of these so much. Thank you again! :white_heart::butterfly:

I don’t think it would - a lot of alliterative names can sound very appealing and cool! It would only bother be if they felt too ‘rhymey’. For example, Declan Duncan or Declan Dolan would put me off, but Declan Donovan, Declan Daniels or Declan Davis sound fine!

@Greyblue Thank you so much!! This is very helpful. I had talked myself out of it because I was worried about how it would sound with my last name. It was sad though, because [name_u]Declan[/name_u] is in my top three or five boys’ names. Now I feel I can use it again!! Thank you again so much!:butterfly::white_heart:
