We have #2 on the way and we don’t know the sex yet but we already have a shortlist for a boy… Fairly sure the middle name will be Jack, though Rex is also an option (to honour Reginald).
- Rufus (nn Rue)
- Silas
- Atlas
Which do you prefer and why?

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_u]Rue[/name_u] gmv!!
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] are just the sweetest together! They’ve both got that vintage charm without being too popular. [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] sounds wonderful together too!!
Best of luck

Oh my goodness major congratulations!!!
I remember your birth announcement for [name_f]Flora[/name_f] like it was yesterday and instantly fell in love with her name. Such a pretty name
I really like [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] but for me [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] wasn’t sitting right with [name_f]Flora[/name_f] so I went with [name_m]Silas[/name_m]. [name_m]Silas[/name_m] has a sweet vintage flair, feels cohesive with [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and I liked the nature connection between the siblings. [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] is beyond adorable.
Wishing you all the best

[name_m]Silas[/name_m]. I would have chosen [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] / [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and cannot decided, but I terribly dislike the nickname [name_u]Rue[/name_u] on someone and my opinion is that one should use the full name of their child especially when they have such a short name, so I will choose [name_m]Silas[/name_m] for you.
Sorry if I have been too direct.
I like all of your options but [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] feels paradoxically both more unexpected than the other two, and more perfect
I think [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] is criminally underrated and [name_u]Rue[/name_u] is the sweetest nickname.

I adore [name_m]Silas[/name_m], and how the forest meaning would work with Flora’s flower meaning. I also thought “Flora & Rufus/Flora & Rue” were very hard to say aloud together, which you’d be doing often.
I get fancy [name_u]Brit[/name_u], Cotswoldy vibes from [name_f]Flora[/name_f] & [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]. I see them as completely on theme together!
(And I have a 10 year old nephew [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] - it’s such a good name.)

[name_u]Loving[/name_u] all the love for Rufus!! I know he didn’t win but it was enough to confirm my own feelings to me. Unfortunately my husband slightly prefers [name_m]Silas[/name_m] but I will work on him… we’re hopefully going to climb Mt [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] in Tassie before I get too pregnant so that should seal the deal. We could also spell [name_u]Rue[/name_u] as Roo or Ru… [name_u]Will[/name_u] see what flows. Hopefully will know the sex in 6 weeks or so!
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] make such a lovely sibset! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you enjoy Mt [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]!
