I’m considering the name [name_m]Jetson[/name_m] for a boy, but it doesn’t really fit with my other favourites: [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], and [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m].
I want to consider other boy names that would work well as a hypothetical brother for [name_m]Jetson[/name_m]. [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] just doesn’t feel like it works to me, and I’d like my boys to feel more stylistically cohesive.
(I’m too attached to my girl names, so I’ll let them be a style mismatch with [name_m]Jetson[/name_m], haha.)
I appreciate all suggestions, but I’m a popularity-phone so will only seriously consider options outside the US top 500 (and would prefer outside 1000). You’re welcome to suggest anything that goes well though! Might be useful for someone else
I like [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m]! I agree that it’s not exactly the same style as [name_m]Jetson[/name_m]. [name_m]Jetson[/name_m] seems a little more punchy & posh. [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] seems a bit more cowboy-y. But, they don’t clash. I wouldn’t hesitate to use both if those were your two top favorites. I think that [name_m]Jetson[/name_m] fits w/Tabitha & [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] pretty well.
I think they go together as a sibset just fine. I feel that [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] and [name_m]Jetson[/name_m] are both very unusual, while [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] are vintage classic names.
Not sure if it’s a possibility for you, but [name_m]Jetson[/name_m] is a variation of [name_m]Judson[/name_m], which feels a little more in line with [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] in particular. Could be an option that, for me, ties them together a little bit. I do love the nn [name_u]Jet[/name_u] though!
