Brother for Kai and Finn

[name_m]Hi[/name_m],

We are expecting our third in [name_u]August[/name_u], and have yet to decide on a boy name for the baby. (We don’t know the sex.) Any suggestions for a boy name that goes with [name_u]Kai[/name_u] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u]? We’d like to do another Scandinavian name–my side of the family is Norwegian–and I have a slight preference for one syllable names, both because it goes well with the sibling names and because my husband’s last name has three syllables. I like [name_m]Mats[/name_m]/[name_m]Mads[/name_m], but my husband isn’t there yet.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Here’s my attempt at thinking of some fun Scandinavian names that go with [name_u]Finn[/name_u] & [name_u]Kai[/name_u]–it’s hard to find another one syllable though!:

[name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] & [name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] & [name_m]Eero[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] & [name_m]Stellan[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] & [name_m]Jack[/name_m]*
[name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] & [name_m]Miles[/name_m]*
[name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] & [name_m]Sven[/name_m]
*(ok so not Scandanavian, but I love it with [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Kai[/name_u]

[name_m]Just[/name_m] curious–what is your girl name? Would love to hear!

I adore [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. Some suggestions (including names with more than one syllable) -

[name_m]Espen[/name_m] - a adore [name_m]Espen[/name_m], means God’s bear. I have [name_m]Espen[/name_m] [name_m]Rigby[/name_m] on my short list, we would nickname him [name_m]Bear[/name_m].
[name_m]Axel[/name_m]
[name_m]Leif[/name_m]
[name_m]Stellan[/name_m]
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_u]Bo[/name_u] - although I prefer the [name_m]Beau[/name_m] spelling
[name_m]Henrik[/name_m]
[name_m]Hans[/name_m]
[name_m]Niels[/name_m]
[name_m]Soren[/name_m]
[name_u]Ari[/name_u]

thanks for the suggestions! I have also come across Rein/Reinn and [name_u]Tate[/name_u]/[name_u]Tait[/name_u], which I like too, but not as much as [name_m]Mads[/name_m]/[name_m]Mats[/name_m]. As for girl names, we are debating between [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] or [name_f]Mathea[/name_f]. Those are obviously not one syllable, but they kind of roll off the tongue. I am not sure why I feel the need to do another one syllable name for a boy but not a girl!

[name_m]Zeke[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]Cord[/name_m]
[name_u]Wade[/name_u]
