I love [name_m]George[/name_m] with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!!! Next choice would be [name_u]August[/name_u].
[name_m]George[/name_m] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! Runner up is [name_m]Emile[/name_m] because “[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_m]Emile[/name_m]” is adorable, unique and stylish!
I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] + [name_m]Emile[/name_m]!
Second would be [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] + [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
[name_m]George[/name_m] is absolutely perfect with [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. They just go together so well. My second choice would be [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
My fave is [name_u]August[/name_u], but I like [name_u]Gus[/name_u], not [name_m]Augie[/name_m].
My vote went to [name_m]George[/name_m]. [name_m]George[/name_m] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] just sounds perfect!
I don’t care for [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_m]Emile[/name_m] together. They are so similar.
My favorites (in order) with [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] are [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], and [name_u]August[/name_u].
Can you guys believe I NEVER thought of [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_m]Emile[/name_m] sounding alike!? I think because it’s always [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]- it didn’t occur to me! Great thing to point out- my spouse will be disappointed as he loves [name_m]Emile[/name_m].
[name_m]George[/name_m] was always my top name. I loved a little boy named [name_m]George[/name_m] who goes by [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] until Kindergarten The young prince threw me off a bit though- and it felt less special to me- even if that’s silly. It’s definitely still on the list as you can tell.
I’m really leaning towards [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]- I think. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestion of [name_u]Gus[/name_u] vs. [name_m]Augie[/name_m]. I love them both- and [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Gus[/name_u]- but I’m a HUGE Queer as Folk fan (from the 2000 era) and I can’t help but think of the little boy on that show and how much I hated hearing one of his moms say his name hah! I do love it tho.
Thanks everyone!
[name_u]August[/name_u] got my vote. I feel like it works well with both [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] plus the sibset of [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]’ & [name_u]August[/name_u] manages to fit both an antique kind of style, as well as a modern style which I think is pretty cool.
I am a big [name_u]August[/name_u] lover though, so perhaps I’m biased…?
My favorites with [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] are [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u].
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_m]Emile[/name_m] are too similar in ending so I would eliminate that one.
Thanks everyone! We are really leaning towards [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] being front runners. Thank you all so much for your help!
Not sure if this would appeal to you, but I love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Bear[/name_m]. Since you’ve mentioned nicknames for [name_u]August[/name_u], thought I’d throw one out for [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
That’s cute! I wonder the association tho? [name_m]How[/name_m] does it become [name_m]Bear[/name_m]? Very cute but wondering about connection!
The minute I saw [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], I automatically thought [name_m]George[/name_m] - even before I saw your options! It seems so ridiculously natural to me to call siblings [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_m]George[/name_m], and I think it’s awesome that you’re considering that too! [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] would be my second choice, but I think [name_m]George[/name_m] is a lovely name, and my favourite boys’ name right now anyway. [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is beautiful too
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_u]August[/name_u] as a sibling set makes my heart skip a beat.
I chose [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], close call between [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u] though!
Well according to nameberry [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] means bear. I’ve seen ‘strong as a bear’ too, but I’m not sure how accurate any of it is!
