Brother for noah

We are having another boy this summer but having difficulty deciding on a name! His brothers name is [name_u]Noah[/name_u] so it needs to “sound right” with this. The two names we have been going back and forth between is [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] (possible middle name rex or rhys) and jack (middle name possibly [name_u]Elias[/name_u]). Our last name is 3 syllables. Which do you like and do you have any other suggestions?? Thanks!!!

The first name that came to mind was [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] but seeing that you have [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] on your short list is makes me smile.

[name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] or [name_m]Eli[/name_m] are super cute together, as are [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_m]Josh[/name_m].

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a great name but it feels harder to me than [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m].

I prefer [name_m]Jack[/name_m] with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] because they have different endings. [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] would be a great choice, too, however!
I like [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u].

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Reid[/name_u]

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] Benjamin

Edit: Sorry, don’t know if you’ve seen this already but I somehow accidentally submitted my incomplete post :frowning: here are some first name suggestions:

Maxwell
Samuel
Jude
Sebastian
Benjamin
James
Oliver

I also second the previous suggestion of Joshua! It sounds similar to Elijah but is less of a mouthful with Noah.
Hope this helps!

I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as brothers  [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is great!

I love [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u], and someone else suggested [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]. [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is nice, too.

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is very nice!

[name_m]Abel[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_m]Nathan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_m]Levi[/name_m]
[name_m]Jacob[/name_m]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_m]Judah[/name_m]/[name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_m]Abner[/name_m]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]

[name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] are two of my favorites! I love them both. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] are both great, so you really can’t go wrong, but my pick would be [name_m]Jack[/name_m]

Both of those combos, [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] are absolutely amazing, very masculine. They both go really well with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] too, so you really can’t go wrong either way!
I love the name [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], especially with [name_u]Noah[/name_u], I find that they suit each other very well, and that it’s a name you just don’t hear enough of these days.
I also have quite a soft spot for the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m], it’s just such a stand-up name, and I think that it meshes in style with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] really well too.
So, long story short you’ve got a fantastic pick either way. If it bothers you even in the slightest that [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] shares a similar ending to [name_u]Noah[/name_u], then I’d go with [name_m]Jack[/name_m], because it might get more and more under your skin as the years go by. If not, then totally go with [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], I think that it’s a fantastic name, it will age really well, and it suit’s brother [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s name perfectly.
Good luck with your choice, and congrats on the new baby

I think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] & [name_m]Jack[/name_m] are great together. I also think I personally wouldn’t choose [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] because of the similar endings. I think [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is nice, [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is just way better in my opinion and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is lovely.

While I like both names individually, [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] together are a bit too biblical for my taste. I definitely prefer [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m], I think they make a lovely sibset.
