We’re so excited for baby boy number three… but my husband and I have exhausted all the boys names that we agree on!
Our older children are [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m].
My husband is British, so we want a name that honors his background.
I have a unique name, so I want a name that our child won’t have to explain and spell for people for the rest of their life.
We don’t mind if the name is popular or unique (although we have used names on the popular end of the spectrum in the past )
We don’t want a name that is unisex.
Bonus points if there are sweet nickname opportunities!
Possible names we are playing with but aren’t sold on: [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_m]Finnigan[/name_m], [name_u]Logan[/name_u], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].
… or [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_m]William[/name_m] or [name_u]George[/name_u] or [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] or [name_m]David[/name_m] also work too.
Oliver [name_u]James[/name_u] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] are so lovely! [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] (I like this spelling) or [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] would all be awesome for a little brother. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] is a little meh for me. It’s just really over done. [name_u]Oliver[/name_u], [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] are popular too, but they’re classic. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] seems modern & over done, which makes it feel trendy.
Sorry for any repeats, but here are a few ideas for #3:
Oliver [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], & [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] would make a stellar sibset😍
Louis was the first name that sprang to mind for me with your sons lovely classic names. I’m British and I’d pronounce it LOU-ee, like the little prince. [name_m]Louis[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m], [name_m]Louis[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] or [name_m]Louis[/name_m] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] would be amazing.
I adore [name_m]Louis[/name_m], especially the pronunciation that you suggested!
Our dear friends and neighbors just named their son [name_m]Louis[/name_m] with the “[name_m]Lewis[/name_m]” pronunciation, otherwise it would be one of our top picks!
My first thought was [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]. [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] would be lovely next to your sons and keep the J theme. I like [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] from your list as well.
