I agree that [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] doesn’t match with [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] well, it really almost clashes.
I do adore [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] and [name_m]Gerard[/name_m]! What a great set. Why let your mom choose what you name your kid? I say go for it anyways if you truly love it.
I’m surprised by the comments that think [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] clashes with [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f]. If anything, I think they’re perhaps a little too similar! They share all the same letters except for the B and C/R and both end with -se. Soundwise, they’re probably different enough to be usable for siblings, but the similarities would really bug me, especially if I planned to have more children. (If you only want two, then I think they’re match-y, but not annoyingly so.)
That being said, I think [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] is a great name!
Normally I would agree, why let mom choose the name? However, she has a legit reason for disliking the name and now I can’t get her story out of my head! I still love [name_m]Gerard[/name_m] though.
I debated using [name_m]Renard[/name_m] instead, what do you think?
(these are the first time anyone has said [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] doesn’t match [name_f]Clarisse[/name_f] though, so that is something I never considered!)
Thanks! I quite like your suggestions too. [name_m]Gregor[/name_m] was used by a friend, but it’s actually a really nice choice. [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] are favorites, I will suggest them to DH.
[name_m]Sylvan[/name_m] I had never considered. That is interesting.
What do you think of [name_m]Renard[/name_m] as an option? (reh-NARD)
