Brother to Eli and Ezekiel

This is our third and last baby, all boys. We didn’t necessarily pick a second E name on purpose, just loved the name. Now with our third being our last (and same gender) I feel like it’d be weird if we didn’t stick with E.

Two concerns - a lot of the names we like may sound similar to one of our first boys names.
We have a very Spanish last name that clashes with a tonnn of names which is why we like the ones that we do.

Love Ezra but it is probably a bit close to Ezekiel. Same with Xander, you’d end up with two sharing that strong Z sound and Eli being the outlier.

Of your list, I vote Evander! But I don’t think you have to stick to all Es if there’s something else you love and fits the general vibe.

That’s my concern with [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] & of course, its our favorite so far :sweat_smile: We do use “Zeke” way more, so in every day life it wouldn’t necessarily matter in that aspect but it does still bother me. Thanks, very helpful!

I think you could use a non-E name if you wanted - I’d say only choose an E name if you love it.

With [name_u]Eli[/name_u] and [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m], I like [name_m]Evander[/name_m], [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u]!

[name_f]My[/name_f] sister has twins [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] and [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] (called [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] & Zeke). So it flows well for me because I’m used to it. I do see with [name_u]Eli[/name_u] and [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] that it sounds like you have to have another E name, but if you call them [name_u]Eli[/name_u] and [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] it doesn’t seem as much so.

I love the idea of [name_u]Eli[/name_u], [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m], and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]. I think that sounds very strong together!

I like Isaiah!! It fits perfectly and I don’t think you need to pick another E name.

Like you I would want to continue the E theme!

With this in mind I love [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] I think he works wonders is so handsome and I know brothers named [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] & [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] so I think they are great pairing.

I think [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is a great compromise. I like that it is a vowel and that it has the long I sound that [name_u]Eli[/name_u] has.

[name_u]Eli[/name_u], [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] make a great brother trio in my opinion.

I think I like [name_m]Evander[/name_m] the best with [name_u]Eli[/name_u] and [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] ! And there are so many cute nicknames !

I’m in agreement with those saying that a different starting letter would be fine, although I totally get the urge to continue the E theme too!

[name_u]Ezra[/name_u] is totally my favorite! I don’t find it too close to [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m] nn [name_u]Zeke[/name_u], personally. They share the “Ez” start or course, but I think that just makes them sweet together! It’s not as though they rhyme or anything. They make great brothers. :two_hearts:
