Brothers for Dashiell

Previously Titled: [name]Rowen[/name]

Got bored of [name]Rowen[/name]. I’m sick of my whole list and I’m looking for something fresh. I’d love to have 2-3 boys names planned. [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]William[/name] Warfield has been number 1 for a long time but I’m a little bored with it. I would still prefer to use [name]William[/name] Warfield as the middle name though.

I want something that goes great with [name]Dashiell[/name] nn [name]Dash[/name]. Things I love about that name:
1- He’s the only one anyone has ever met
2- Great literary namesake
3- Popular Disney character (we are Disney fans and like the merch!)
4- Reminds me of the 20s
5- Cool nickname
6- [name]Dashiell[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] have different feelings so his name will fit him no matter what kind of personality he has (he is definitely more of a [name]Dash[/name]!).

So I would love something like that. And my son is extremely athletic (at only 15 months old!) and I’m guessing future boys will follow suit. I’d like a nickname that sounds like it would work on the captain of the football team.

Also, picture a very tall, big muscular guy. [name]Blue[/name] or green eyes, light skin, blondish-reddish-brownish hair.

I love [name]Jake[/name], [name]Zach[/name] and [name]Nick[/name] and would totally use them if they weren’t so popular. I think any of those names would fit my little guy, especially [name]Jake[/name]. So something that feels like that… but is very uncommon… I know, it’s an impossible task.

Name of the day on Appellation Mountain was [name]Orlando[/name]. What do you think of that nn [name]Ollie[/name]?

I see it as a boy’s name, but I think I like it better spelled [name]Rowan[/name]. [name]Rowen[/name] makes me think of rowin’ – like rowing a boat.

And if your other son’s middle name is [name]Rowe[/name], I wouldn’t use it. It’s nearly the same name! Unless you want them to have matching middles? In which case I’d just do [name]Rowe[/name] again…

[name]Do[/name] you mean [name]Rowan[/name]?

I definitely think of it as a boy’s name, but it’s fine on a girl-- one of the only true ‘unisex’ names. I think it is kind of weird to use, but if it’s a second middle, it doesn’t matter that much.

I like it. I also prefer [name]Rowan[/name], though… To me, it seems more like a boys name because it reminds me of [name]Owen[/name]. For me, it’s too close to [name]Rowe[/name]… Maybe [name]Ronan[/name] or [name]Roman[/name] would work…?

Thanks guys! Yeah I kind of wish I hadn’t posted this because I already changed my mind. [name]Rowe[/name] is a very special family name and my family doesn’t seem to think it “counts” since it’s only his second middle. That’s why I would consider using it again as a first. And that’s also why I would spell it [name]Rowen[/name]. I don’t think the name is popular enough that there would be more spelling troubles this way. Regardless, I decided I just don’t like it all that much for myself because there isn’t a good enough nickname. I do think it’s very cute though.

[name]Orlando[/name] is a very nice name! To me, the name [name]Ollie[/name] sounds like something you would name your pet turtle or something though! haha…
Heres some suggestion for [name]Dashiell[/name]!

[name]Lennon[/name]
[name]Johan[/name]
[name]Declan[/name]
[name]Mark[/name]
Taej
[name]Tucker[/name]
[name]Beckett[/name]
Cabe
[name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Sonny[/name]
[name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Edison[/name]
[name]Vaughn[/name]
[name]Griffin[/name]
Treffen
[name]Callahan[/name]
[name]Isaiah[/name]
[name]Laszlo[/name]
[name]Embry[/name]
[name]Sullivan[/name]
[name]Theo[/name]
[name]Owen[/name]
[name]Michael[/name]
[name]Nate[/name]
[name]Beckham[/name]
[name]Presley[/name]
[name]Jose[/name]
[name]Mannix[/name]
[name]Leo[/name]
[name]Klyde[/name]
[name]Benji[/name]
[name]Brady[/name]
[name]Deacon[/name]

[name]Lyndsay[/name], as I’m sure you probably already know, I love and adore and secretly want to steal your son’s name. Haha. But seriously, you have great taste, so I’ll try to measure up with my suggestions and explain why I chose it.
I also love the name [name]Jake[/name], it’s my brother’s name (well, nickname per se, but he is never called [name]Jacob[/name]). It’s like the epitome of boy-next-door-cool-baseball-player guy. Unfortunately, it’s way too popular to use with [name]Dash[/name].

[name]Lincoln[/name] nn [name]Link[/name] - I really love the name [name]Lincoln[/name], I love the connection to [name]Abraham[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name]. Like you said about your son’s name, he could go by [name]Lincoln[/name] or [name]Link[/name] depending on his mood. Great choice.

[name]Abraham[/name] nn [name]Abe[/name] - After typing the above sentences, I realized how cool [name]Abe[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] would be together. Or, if [name]Abraham[/name] is a little too much with [name]Dashiell[/name], [name]Abram[/name] would also be cool. [name]Abram[/name] [name]William[/name] Warfield is very cool.

[name]Finnegan[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name] - I think [name]Finn[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] sound great together. While I really like them, I’m just not as sure about these two together. [name]Finnegan[/name] [name]William[/name] Warfield feels like too much though.

[name]Russell[/name] nn [name]Russ[/name] - I really love this name, I think it’s great. Also a Disney connection! It’s the name of the boy in “Up”. (I also love Disney, if I could I would be tempted to use [name]Nemo[/name].) My only concern with this name is that [name]Russell[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name] sound similar since they end in the same letters.

[name]Sullivan[/name] nn [name]Sully[/name] - Staying with the Disney theme, [name]Sully[/name] is from Monsters, Inc. I think [name]Sullivan[/name] is a great name, but I’m not the biggest fan of [name]Sully[/name]. Maybe [name]Van[/name] as a nickname? I like [name]Sullivan[/name] though.

[name]Cormac[/name] nn [name]Mac[/name] - I’ve loved this name since 7th grade since I knew a guy named [name]Cormac[/name]. I think it is such a cool name and the nickname is great. [name]Dashiell[/name] and [name]Cormac[/name], [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Mac[/name]. I think they sound good together. And [name]Cormac[/name] [name]William[/name] Warfield sounds really good.

[name]Archer[/name] nn [name]Arch[/name] - I just love this name, I really do. But I’m not sure how well [name]Arch[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] sound together.

[name]Jeremy[/name] nn [name]Jett[/name] - The nickname might be a stretch, but I love both names so much. [name]Jeremy[/name] is cool but still classic. And the nickname [name]Jett[/name] is like [name]Dash[/name]; it’s high energy and fun, plus they’re slightly similar. [name]Love[/name] this one.

I should also add that I’m really loving [name]Jasper[/name] with [name]Dashiell[/name], but I’m not sure of a great nickname for it with the same feeling as [name]Dash[/name]. [name]Jazz[/name] could work, but I’m not crazy about it. Again, maybe [name]Jett[/name], but that could be quite a stretch.

My top 3, in no particular order, would be:
[name]Lincoln[/name] nn [name]Link[/name]
[name]Jeremy[/name] nn [name]Jett[/name]
[name]Abram[/name] nn [name]Abe[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] this helps give you some inspiration!
By the way, are you still liking [name]Cassia[/name] for a girl?

We also have a [name]Dashiell[/name] and [name]LOVE[/name] his name and are having a hard time coming up with another boy name we love as much to go with it. Here are some things we are considering…we usually call ours [name]Dashiell[/name] and not [name]Dash[/name], so that does change things a bit as far as flow:

[name]Archer[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] (most likely as a nn with a longer given name)
Truett nn [name]True[/name]
[name]Sawyer[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name]
[name]August[/name] or [name]Augustus[/name] (possibly nn [name]Gus[/name])
[name]Hawthorne[/name] nn [name]Hawk[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Finn[/name]

I think the nickname [name]Bram[/name] matches [name]Dash[/name] well.
[name]Abram[/name]
Abramson
Bramley
[name]Bramwell[/name]

[name]Brantley[/name] - [name]Brant[/name]
Breckan - [name]Breck[/name]
[name]Easton[/name] - [name]East[/name]
[name]Roman[/name] - [name]Rome[/name]
[name]Wesley[/name]- [name]Wes[/name]
[name]Oakley[/name] - [name]Oak[/name]
[name]October[/name] - [name]Toby[/name]

[name]Griffin[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name]. That was always my plan if I had twin boys ([name]Dashiell[/name] nn [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Griffin[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name].)

What about…

[name]Alaric[/name] nn [name]Al[/name] or [name]Ric[/name]
[name]Callum[/name] nn [name]Cal[/name]
[name]Osmond[/name] or [name]Oswald[/name] nn [name]Oz[/name]
[name]Malcolm[/name] nn [name]Mac[/name]
[name]Desmond[/name] nn [name]Desi[/name]
[name]Javon[/name] nn [name]Jay[/name]
[name]Bodhi[/name] nn [name]Bo[/name]
[name]Lucius[/name] nn [name]Luke[/name] (in love with this one!)
[name]Josiah[/name] nn [name]Joe/name
[name]Ignatius[/name] nn [name]Iggy[/name]
[name]Lamont[/name] nn [name]Monty[/name]
[name]Calvin[/name] nn [name]Vin[/name]
[name]Edmund[/name] nn [name]Eddie[/name]
[name]Henry[/name] nn [name]Hal[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name] nn [name]Toby[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] that helped in some way!

[name]Molly[/name]

[name]Lennon[/name] - sort of love this but is it TOO [name]John[/name] [name]Lennon[/name]? Though I do love the Beatles.
[name]Johan[/name]- not sure about this
[name]Declan[/name] - I love the nn [name]Dex[/name] and this goes well with my last name.
[name]Mark[/name]- feels dated to me
Taej - too… ethnic?
[name]Tucker[/name]- I like this except it reminds me of being tired (tuckered out) and I don’t like that that’s the opposite of dash, ya know? Also rhymes with F-----.
[name]Beckett[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name], but it’s almost my last name
Cabe- have to avoid C/K names, my niece and nephew are [name]Kaelyn[/name] and [name]Cole[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name] - hubby hates it, I like it
[name]Sonny[/name] - I love [name]Sunny[/name] for a girl, but [name]Sonny[/name] for a boy reminds me of [name]General[/name] Hospital.
[name]Dominic[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name]! Hubby doesn’t
[name]Everett[/name] - Ditto [name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Edison[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t love the nn [name]Eddie[/name]
[name]Vaughn[/name] - [name]Love[/name], I have a specially ancestor whose last name was Vonnoh so I’d likely use that instead
[name]Griffin[/name]- One of my FAVORITES [name]EVER[/name]!!!
Treffen- never heard this before
[name]Callahan[/name]- Hmm, never thought of this, pretty cool
[name]Isaiah[/name]- I like this… too biblical?
[name]Laszlo[/name]- Too out-there
[name]Embry[/name] - Too [name]Ethan[/name] [name]Embry[/name]
[name]Sullivan[/name]- one of Hubby’s faves
[name]Theo[/name]- I like [name]Theo[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Owen[/name]- great name
[name]Michael[/name]- too common
[name]Nate[/name]- my cousin and hubby’s nephew who passed away
[name]Beckham[/name] - also almost my last name!
[name]Presley[/name]- too [name]Elvis[/name]. Plus my cousin and best friend plan to use [name]Peyton[/name], [name]Paisley[/name], [name]Presley[/name] and [name]Ripley[/name], and this just blends too much with those.
[name]Jose[/name]- one of my best friends names
[name]Mannix[/name] - nn [name]Manny[/name]? Nah
[name]Leo[/name]- [name]Love[/name]
[name]Klyde[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Clyde[/name], but not with nephew [name]Cole[/name]
[name]Benji[/name]- [name]Love[/name] as nn for [name]Benjamin[/name], hubby doesn’t like it
[name]Brady[/name]- Feels dated, but I’m sort of liking it.
[name]Deacon[/name]- cool. I really like the sound.

Thank you for the suggestions! You can see my problem, though! Everything is already taken or hubby hates it, lol.

[name]Rachel[/name], I didn’t realize you loved his name so much, thank you! Your suggestions make me laugh because I already love them so much! You nailed my tastes on the head!

[name]Lincoln[/name] nn [name]Link[/name] - I’m glad you like this one. I do love it but I think I just needed some reassurance! Normally I think there is nothing better to pair with [name]Dashiell[/name] nn [name]Dash[/name]!

[name]Abraham[/name] nn [name]Abe[/name] - Hubby would never go for it because if we were doing an [name]Abraham[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name] thing it would have to [name]Lincoln[/name]. I do like this though, [name]Abe[/name] is really cool. I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Ace[/name] and [name]Abe[/name] has that sound but a different feel, I like that. Oh! But I just realized it sounds funny with my B last name.

[name]Finnegan[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name] - I don’t like [name]Finnegan[/name] but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name]. It is currently number 2 (after [name]Lincoln[/name]). I don’t even care that [name]Finn[/name] is popular, I’ve never met one and I just can’t help loving it.

[name]Russell[/name] nn [name]Russ[/name] - WOW! This has been on the list before, I would call him [name]Rusty[/name]! And the similar ending is what put me off of it. We added it to the list right after Up came out. But then thought maybe he wouldn’t like to have that character when [name]Dash[/name] has, well, a superhero. My husband wants to use the name [name]Nemo[/name], haha. I would like it if it weren’t so tied to the fish!

[name]Sullivan[/name] nn [name]Sully[/name] - Hubby’s fave after [name]Lincoln[/name]. I don’t like nn [name]Sully[/name] very much. But I do love [name]Van[/name]. I’m not too keen on doing such an obvious Pixar theme, though, ya know?

[name]Cormac[/name] nn [name]Mac[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Mac[/name] and it’s one of hubby’s other top faves. I like the idea of [name]Cormac[/name] a lot, too. The problem is that my best friend’s daughter is [name]Mackenzie[/name], called [name]Mac[/name]. Unfortunately. [name]Mac[/name] would be really great for us.

[name]Archer[/name] nn [name]Arch[/name] - Yeah I like [name]Archer[/name] a lot but [name]Arch[/name] and [name]Dash[/name] are a little much. Also I can’t use 2-syllable ends in -er names because they rhyme with our last name.

[name]Jeremy[/name] nn [name]Jett[/name] - [name]Ah[/name]! I never considered [name]Jett[/name] because I often call my brother [name]Jeffrey[/name] [name]Jett[/name]. For that reason, I wouldn’t use it… but it really would go perfectly.

[name]Jasper[/name] would be a favorite if it went with our last name. I love your top 3. [name]Cassia[/name] is still under consideration. Right now she comes in 3rd place, after [name]Rosalie[/name] and Lulette.

[name]Hi[/name] bogsdarking, awesome to hear from a fellow [name]Dashiell[/name]'s mom! It’s so fun to see your considerations.

[name]Archer[/name]- someone else suggested this, and it does go great with [name]Dashiell[/name], but not so much [name]Dash[/name]. Since you call yours [name]Dashiell[/name] I think this would be a fab choice!
[name]Leo[/name]- I adore [name]Leo[/name] but can’t find a longer version I love enough. My husband loves [name]Leonardo[/name] but that’s too Italian for me!
Truett nn [name]True[/name]- Awesome! I think this is genius (where did you find it?)… I have a feeling there would be a lot of negative reactions from people, though…
[name]Sawyer[/name]/[name]Hunter[/name]/[name]Jasper[/name]- don’t sound good with my last name :frowning:
[name]August[/name]- Was a fave when I was pregnant with [name]Dash[/name] (was close to being his name, actually) but I just don’t feel it anymore. I think if both are used in full, it’s one of the best possible brothers for a [name]Dashiell[/name].
[name]Hawthorne[/name] nn [name]Hawk[/name]- Woah, cool! [name]Hawthorne[/name] may be a little too… fancy? for us, but [name]Hawk[/name] is a brilliant nickname. A couple guilty pleasures of mine are [name]Wolfgang[/name] nn [name]Wolf[/name] and [name]Fox[/name], this would be cool with those!
[name]Finn[/name]- I think everyone has suggested this so far. I’m taking that as a good sign! It’s my favorite name right now! Well, [name]Griffin[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name].

Jenn13m- [name]Bram[/name] is SO awesome! I love love love it. But, my nephew is [name]Brandon[/name] and is usually called [name]Bran[/name] by the family. Such a bummer. It totally captures the vintage vibe that I love.

[name]Brantley[/name] - [name]Brant[/name] - same problem
Breckan - [name]Breck[/name] - Last name starts with [name]Beck[/name]
[name]Easton[/name] - [name]East[/name] - Very cool
[name]Roman[/name] - [name]Rome[/name] - too [name]Cate[/name] Blanchett, lol
[name]Wesley[/name]- [name]Wes[/name] - One of my favorites, goes on and off the list depending on my mood. I also like [name]Westley[/name] and [name]Weston[/name].
[name]Oakley[/name] - [name]Oak[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]! Thanks for the suggestion! I wonder what kind of reaction this would get. I think it’s really cool.
[name]October[/name] - [name]Toby[/name] - I don’t like [name]October[/name] but I love [name]Toby[/name] a lot.

Oh my gosh, really? [name]Griffin[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name] is my favorite! I agree that they are perfect together!

cheekypanda, it’s like you were in my brain when you suggested these! I love them! You definitely helped!

[name]Alaric[/name] nn [name]Al[/name] or [name]Ric[/name] - I like [name]Alaric[/name] but not [name]Al[/name] or [name]Ric[/name]!
[name]Callum[/name] nn [name]Cal[/name]- We know a [name]Cal[/name] who is really crazy
[name]Osmond[/name] or [name]Oswald[/name] nn [name]Oz[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Oz[/name] so much! I don’t love the things he can be a nn for as much, though. Maybe [name]Orlando[/name] [name]Zachary[/name]? [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Zachary[/name]?
[name]Malcolm[/name] nn [name]Mac[/name] - [name]Mac[/name] is my best friend daughter :-(, but it’s one of our favorite nicknames
[name]Desmond[/name] nn [name]Desi[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] this! If we decided to do an all 1 initial sibset, this would be a major front-runner for me. [name]Love[/name] it.
[name]Javon[/name] nn [name]Jay[/name] - I called my brother [name]Jay[/name] for many years, and my husband works with one that he hates.
[name]Bodhi[/name] nn [name]Bo[/name] - I love! Husband hates. I have loved [name]Beau[/name] for a really long time. We have a surname Beaumont in the family tree, I’ve considered that.
[name]Lucius[/name] nn [name]Luke[/name] - [name]Luke[/name] is one of my favorites! I wish it weren’t so darn popular or it would be a no-brainer! His mom is [name]Lucretia[/name] so it could honor her. [name]Lucius[/name] I’m not quite so sure about, though… I think because of the movie [name]Amelie[/name].
[name]Josiah[/name] nn [name]Joe/name- too biblical, but definitely cool
[name]Ignatius[/name] nn [name]Iggy[/name]- [name]Cate[/name] Blanchett has one and a [name]Dashiell[/name]. I just can’t bring myself to do that. But I adore [name]Iggy[/name], and [name]Ziggy[/name]. I’ve thought of [name]Isaac[/name] nn [name]Iggy[/name] because the way I pronounce it it’s really not a stretch at all. Husband hates though, so it doesn’t really matter.
[name]Lamont[/name] nn [name]Monty[/name]- Oh I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Monty[/name]! I would use [name]Montgomery[/name] because I love it and it’s a family name. It’s too much name, though, I think. I’m not sure about [name]Lamont[/name], I don’t think I’ve heard it before. It could grow on me, and it is nice with [name]Dashiell[/name].
[name]Calvin[/name] nn [name]Vin[/name]- I like [name]Vin[/name], [name]Van[/name] and [name]Von[/name]!
[name]Edmund[/name] nn [name]Eddie[/name] - nah
[name]Henry[/name] nn [name]Hal[/name] - Hubby says [name]Henry[/name] reminds him of a ham sandwich for no particular reason.
[name]Tobias[/name] nn [name]Toby[/name] - I love [name]Toby[/name]! Wait, don’t you have a [name]Toby[/name]? Or was that someone else? At any rate, I love it. Husband likes it because he is a big Spider-[name]Man[/name] fan! I’m not sure the back-to-back B works with my last name, though. Oh, also my baby nephew is [name]Cole[/name] and I call him [name]Colby[/name]… that isn’t such a big issue though.

Sorry I replied to everyone separately, but it was a lot easier that way! Here’s what we have right now:

[name]Dashiell[/name] [name]David[/name] [name]Rowe[/name] “[name]Dash[/name]”
[name]Lincoln[/name] [name]William[/name] Warfield “[name]Link[/name]”
[name]Griffin[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] [name]Cloud[/name] “[name]Finn[/name]”

[name]Link[/name] and [name]Finn[/name] are leagues above anything else. What do you the full combos, do they work together? [name]David[/name] is his dad, [name]William[/name] is my dad, [name]Christopher[/name] is my husband. [name]Rowe[/name] is big family name on my side, Warfield is his grandad’s middle, and [name]Cloud[/name] is a family name ([name]Saint[/name] [name]Cloud[/name]) as well as character in Final [name]Fantasy[/name]. I’m trying to make a 4th combo that has as much meaning as those 3 and it’s quite hard.

Other first names we love:
1- nn [name]Hart[/name]- I think this is pretty perfect with the others and I just love it. Full name Hartford or [name]Hartwell[/name]? Not sure.

2- nn [name]Beau[/name]- Beaumont? The other nicknames are all 4 letters, I think that’d be a nice, understated connection.

[name]Ace[/name] (but what full name?), [name]Wesley[/name] nn [name]West[/name], [name]Oz[/name], Vonnoh (family name, pronounced [name]Vaughn[/name]-o). I like [name]Oakley[/name] but he doesn’t. I like nicknames that don’t HAVE to have the -ee ending sound, but can. That’s why I’ve been shying away from names like [name]August[/name] nn [name]Augie[/name], [name]Toby[/name], [name]Iggy[/name], etc.

I think [name]Dash[/name], [name]Link[/name], [name]Finn[/name], [name]Hart[/name] and [name]Beau[/name] would be great, do you? We probably won’t actually make it that far, but we’d like up to 7 kids… hopefully there is a girl or 2 mixed in there!

[name]Dashiell[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Griffin[/name], Hartford, Beaumont? I’m open to suggestions for a full name for [name]Beau[/name], please! I like that Hartford could use [name]Ford[/name] if [name]Hart[/name] was too much for him. I need to come up with combos for those last two, now.

I think we have similar tastes. I’ve always loved the names [name]Dashiell[/name], [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Desmond[/name], and [name]Griffin[/name]. I love the nn [name]Toby[/name] too, but my boyfriend says it reminds him of the baby from The Labyrinth.

Out of your choices, I definitely like [name]Lincoln[/name] nn [name]Link[/name] the best. It’s just like [name]Dashiell[/name] stylistically. A strong, masculine name steeped in history with an awesome action movie worthy nickname! Perfect.

I like [name]Griffin[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name] too. Not so much a fan of the nn [name]Beau[/name], but with Beaumont you could use [name]Monty[/name] which I love! With the nn [name]Beau[/name] you could use [name]Beauregard[/name], [name]Boaz[/name], [name]Bogart[/name], or [name]Bowen[/name].

If you like [name]Oz[/name], you could also use Bosworth, [name]Boswell[/name], or [name]Bosley[/name].

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Molly[/name]! I’m glad you like [name]Lincoln[/name] best, since there is a 95% chance we will name our next boy that! And the fact that it’s “A strong, masculine name steeped in history with an awesome action movie worthy nickname!” is EXACTLY what I like about it and exactly what I want to find in other names! You summed it up perfectly!

Hey wow, I never noticed the nn [name]Monty[/name] from Beaumont! I love [name]Beau[/name] and [name]Monty[/name] so I love that there would be the option for both. I’m still not sure it’s a good name, though. [name]Beauregard[/name] has even more of that “too much name” vibe for me, though. I will have to think about [name]Bogart[/name] and [name]Bowen[/name]… I like the [name]Humphrey[/name] [name]Bogart[/name] connection…I just looked him up and he was in The Maltese [name]Falcon[/name], written by [name]Dashiell[/name] [name]Hammett[/name]… would that be neat or weird? I’m kind of loving [name]Bogart[/name] the more I read about him… hmmm. I feel like it’s less pretentious and more, hmm, vintage? I love names of that era. I like the [name]Bogie[/name] option, too… What do you really think of this name, too much?
