[name_f][/name_f] But I also love [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_m]Sawyer[/name_m], and [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Oak[/name_m] and [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Moss[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] I think [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_m]Sawyer[/name_m] and [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Oak[/name_m] would be so fun with the tree ties for [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] and [name_m]Oak[/name_m], and then the [name_m]Huck[/name_m] [name_m]Finn[/name_m] and [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_m]Sawyer[/name_m] connection with [name_m]Huck[/name_m] and [name_m]Sawyer[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] But [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] is my favorite combo—I’m so fond of [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]!

Seconding [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] “[name_m]Huck[/name_m]” - I think it’s just the right blend of playful, earthy and sophisticated. I like [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_m]Hershel[/name_m] and [name_m]Forest[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] best out of your other options.

I think [name_m]Charles[/name_m] goes best with [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] and [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] with [name_m]Hershel[/name_m].

Another question - how would you decide? Hypothetically speaking..if you had a boy and named him Forrest, would you pick your top middle name just in case you don’t have another opportunity to use it, even though it sounds better with Huck?
To be specific - I’m loving Charles Rafferty & Rafferty Basil together maybe Charles Rafferty Basil? But I think I would be heartbroken if I never got the chance to use Rafferty if I held out for a future brother. But I feel like if we were to have another boy, he would be Forrest I’m just not sure on a middle.
That’s really hard! If you purely look at it as a numbers game, the odds of having two more boys aren’t super high - if you only have two more kids and you save [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] for a first name, there’s a 75% chance of not getting to use it. If you have three more kids, it lowers to 50%, etc. So it’s probably safer to use [name_m]Forest[/name_m] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] unless you plan on having a lot more kids, though you might get lucky. (Sorry for such an analytical take, but that’s what often helps me in situations like this.) Good luck
