Brynn?

My second daughter is coming in two weeks (first is [name]Elizabeth[/name]) and we are still struggling with a name. We were down to [name]Grace[/name], [name]Abigail[/name] or [name]Mae[/name], but suddenly I was bored with all of them (even though I love them so much…).

My husband suggested [name]Brynn[/name] a few weeks ago and I didn’t like it at all, but now it’s really growing on me. I have no idea if this is because…

a) I actually like it
b) I am just getting sick of talking about names
c) It’s way more interesting than my other options

So my questions are:

  1. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Brynn[/name]? If so, how would you spell it? [name]Bryn[/name], [name]Brynn[/name], [name]Brinn[/name]?
  2. Is [name]Brynn[/name] terrible and I am just pregnant and tired and can’t thinking clearly?
  3. Any other names you like that are kind of like [name]Brynn[/name], [name]Grace[/name], [name]Mae[/name]? But not those names?
  4. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Mae[/name] better?
  5. [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Grace[/name] is still too popular? Or is it dropping fast (which I want)?

thanks. and sorry in advance for this annoying post. I am all-consumed with this for some reason.

I don’t hate [name]Brynn[/name]. It’s not really my style though.

Similar: I like [name]Bryony[/name], [name]Bronwen[/name], [name]Bronwyn[/name], [name]Branwen[/name], and [name]Beatriz[/name], with [name]Beatrice[/name] trailing slightly behind its z-sister.

I like [name]Mae[/name] more than I like [name]Brynn[/name], I think, but some other B names are more interesting than [name]Mae[/name]. I do not think [name]Grace[/name] is going to drop all that much all that soon - it’s not a bad name but it’s so popular.

I passed on [name]Grace[/name] b/c suddenly I heard it everywhere but sometimes I think it was the wrong move. It’s a beautiful classic. I do like [name]Brynn[/name] though but I think I like [name]Grace[/name] better. I love [name]Mae[/name] as well but particularly since your older daughter is [name]Elizabeth[/name] I think I would use [name]Mae[/name] as a nickname for [name]Mary[/name], [name]Margaret[/name] or some other Ma- name.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] was my mom’s name. She passed away in 2003.
[name]Marian[/name] is all four grandmothers’ names: So the baby will be [name]Marian[/name] with “[name]Mae[/name]” as a nickname…

[name]Brynn[/name] is nice! I would spell it [name]Brynn[/name]. Another option for you would be [name]Wynn[/name], which is perhaps a little more spunky than [name]Brynn[/name]. Also love [name]Mae[/name].

[name]Marian[/name] nn [name]Mae[/name] sounds perfect. In your OP you said you liked [name]Brynn[/name] b/c it was more interesting that your other choices, but I don’t think [name]Marian[/name] nn [name]Mae[/name] is boring at all.

I’d go with [name]Bryn[/name] or [name]Grace[/name]. [name]Grace[/name] is popular but a great name. I also always think of the name [name]Hannah[/name] when I gear [name]Grace[/name].

I may be biased, but I have a little cousin named [name]Brynne[/name] [name]Kathryn[/name], and I prefer the spelling [name]Brynne[/name]. It looks more balanced and feminine [name]IMO[/name]!

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Brynn[/name], spelled that way!
