[name_f]BUNNY[/name_f]??
Oh my word!!!
[name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] Calls Her Daughter [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] After Husband [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] Vetoed ‘Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f]’
[name_f]BUNNY[/name_f]??
Oh my word!!!
[name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] Calls Her Daughter [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] After Husband [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] Vetoed ‘Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f]’
Oh my, that poor girl! If someone called me [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] in everyday life, I would smack them. I can’t believe she’s going to be inflicted with that forever.
Poor child, I was kind of expecting it though considering she named her oldest daughter [name_f]Princess[/name_f].
I quite like [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] as a nn. It’s kitschy and the right person could make it cool. I do hate it as a given name though.
It beats [name_f]Princess[/name_f] though. Which is vile.
Well, it’s a hell lot better than ‘Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f]’, I’ll give [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] than. Of the other names she mentions, I think the most humane option would have been [name_f]Peggy[/name_f], but I guess that’s not odd enough.
I don’t think it’s quite as bad as other celebrity baby names, I am pleasantly surprised because I was seriously dreading something similar to ‘Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f]’ – [name_f]Khaleesi[/name_f] or Tsarina or [name_f]Queen[/name_f], even.
[name_f]Bunny[/name_f] is a cute nickname and actually not too bad for a celebrity baby. It could be worse but not for use by ‘normal’ people.
I almost cried when I heard about this earlier today - a mixture of sadness and pity for the poor child and out of sheer laughter. I honestly thought it was a joke.
Better than Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f] though…
I know a BOY called [name_f]Bunny[/name_f]. Makes [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] on a girl look not so bad after all! But yeah, not something I’d wish on a child.
Out of Lady, Disney, [name_f]Bunny[/name_f], [name_f]Precious[/name_f], Duchess, [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] and [name_f]Bambi[/name_f]…they went with [name_f]Bunny[/name_f]…I’d love to know why [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] was vetoed.
A few quotes from an interview about the name:
“It’s really cute, isn’t it?” she added. “I considered it being spelt ‘[name_f]Bunni[/name_f]’ with a heart above the ‘i’, but I don’t think that’s really a part of the English language!”
“I love Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f], though, so I’ve told [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] that if we have another daugter that will be her name! I think it goes well with [name_f]Princess[/name_f]. She would have been Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f] of [name_u]Brighton[/name_u]!”
[name_f]Bunni[/name_f] with a heart above the i - the thought actually almost makes me physically sick to my stomach…
[name_f]Bunny[/name_f] used to be on my list, now it’s NMS. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it…
I think ok as a nn… But not a first name and to be honest i was thinking after she said bunnie that [name_f]Queenie[/name_f] would have been on par… I mean it IS a name unlike princess… I also would like to know why peggy was vetoed… was the nicest of the lot for names i would say but obvs was too normal…
Still think [name_u]Angel[/name_u] would have been better… i know a little girl called angel but then again i know a little girl named [name_f]Peaches[/name_f] too… ( before the ice age film came out LOL)
Cheers to [name_f]Bunny[/name_f]! If she arrived healthy and is raised in a happy environment, I expect that she will be as successful in whatever she puts her heartfelt efforts towards.
[name_f]Bunny[/name_f] reminds me of [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] Lebowski, hah. (“I hope that my wife [[name_f]Bunny[/name_f]] will someday learn to live on her allowance, which is ample…”)
I guess it’s better than [name_f]Cricket[/name_f].
[name_f]Bunny[/name_f] is much better than Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f] at least!
I’ve been eagerly anticipating [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m]'s baby girl name and I expected her to pick an unusual name and I am not surprised she chose [name_f]Bunny[/name_f]. I agree with others here [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] makes a pretty cute nickname and it’s way better than [name_f]Bunni[/name_f] with an heart at the top of the I. It’s also miles better than Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f] which which [name_f]IMO[/name_f] is pretty inappropriate due the [name_f]Kate[/name_f] Middleton being the Duchess of Cambridge. It seems [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_m]Price[/name_m] is a huge fan of title names with her having [name_f]Princess[/name_f] and now wanting a Duchess (FYI I am gald these types of names are banned in NZ). It’s also better than some of the other names she was considering Disney, [name_f]Precious[/name_f] and [name_f]Bambi[/name_f], although [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] and [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] seem okay.
[name_f]Bunny[/name_f] is just awful! The poor child!
I actually love love love [name_f]Bunny[/name_f], it is on my short list, and I have a cow named [name_f]Bunny[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of the Duchess [name_f]Kate[/name_f] idea, or [name_f]Bunnie[/name_f] (with the heart), but horses for courses. It is a pretty common nickname for [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] / [name_f]Berenice[/name_f] / [name_f]Bernice[/name_f] etc. and I know a few older women who go solely by [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] as opposed to their full names. I also really love the vintage feel of [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] (à la [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] [name_m]Watson[/name_m], [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] Hepburn’s character in Desk [name_m]Set[/name_m]). I think that if [name_f]Kitty[/name_f] and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] are perfectly acceptable names that nobody really bats an eyelid at now, [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] isn’t too different and probably isn’t that far behind. I personally think it is really spunky and quite a lovely name.
I… what? I don’t know where to begin with this story.
