Caelia

[name_f]My[/name_f] mama’s name was [name_f]Celia[/name_f] and I really want to find something close to honor her for our girl’s middle name. I really like Caelia especially for the spelling but would want to pronounce it ka-lee-uh.

It’s a middle name so I think we could really do what we want with it, but does this make any sense? Any other way to spell it which still stays close to [name_f]Celia[/name_f]?

Thank you!

i think Calia would be a better spelling, both in terms of appearance and getting the pronunciation you want

Seems so simple, not sure why I didn’t think of that. Lol

I think you can pretty much do what you want I think Caelia is usually like the [name_f]Cae[/name_f] in [name_m]Caesar[/name_m], but ehhh nobody has to know more than you tell them.

Chelia or [name_f]Kaylia[/name_f] might be more straight forward. But a fancier [name_f]Celia[/name_f] strikes me as both and honor and something new.

Thank you! Im now officially torn between Caelia and [name_f]Calia[/name_f] but either way I think im sold.

Calia or Callia definitely looks like a KA-lee-uh (the “a” sounds like “apple”) prononciation to me! Caelia looks like KAY-lee-uh.

[name_f]Calia[/name_f] would make more sense, but since it’s a middle name, I think it works as it is
