[name_f]Sahara[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u] Willet [30] is the friend of Nick’s who went through a bad relationship in her early twenties. After many years and sessions in therapy she’s been able to put it behind her, although it has scarred her for relationships and she prefers to stay single. However she’s since realized that staying single may hinder the accomplishment of one of her dreams, to become a mother. Meeting [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] has also encouraged her ‘baby fever’ in a pretty large way, leading her to making a pretty big decision. To become a single mother by choice and have a baby via a sperm donor. [name_u]Nick[/name_u] and [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] have been very supportive of her choice. However the excitement has an upcoming bump in the road, besides the obvious one.
The day after she had her IUI at the fertility clinic she met a charming stranger at a coffee shop, they hit it off instantly and he gave her his number. During her waiting period before she took a test they went on multiple dates and things quickly heated up. For a minute she began to feel like she would be okay if the IUI didn’t work, until she took a test and found out she was indeed pregnant. [name_f]Sahara[/name_f] wanted to tell her new boyfriend about the news, but couldn’t bring herself to, ‘I’ll tell him next week’ was repeated in her head over and over again. Eventually an entire month went by and she finally blurted it out over dinner.
She told him to take a few days and think about things, if he wanted to leave she would understand completely, but secretly her heart hoped that he would want to stick around even if the baby was not his. It’s been four days now and he finally send her a text asking to meet up so they can talk and she’s beyond nervous. What’s he gonna say?
