CAF with a Twist

@go_ask_alice [name_m]Hi[/name_m] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! [name_u]Welcome[/name_u]! :wave:

Warning for abuse and self-defence killing.

Dr. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] [name_f]Masha[/name_f] Osmonov (41) is Mel’s friend and on a positive note, the mother of Adrien’s new girlfriend and the male friend of [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] on the debate team. She lives by [name_u]Mel[/name_u], sometimes visiting her since her daughter dated Mel’s son, just to check in on [name_u]Mel[/name_u] and make sure she is okay. She emigrated as a little girl from the Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic (now Kyrgyzstan) with her father and sister to escape abuse the three faced from their mother. She’s still close with her Kyrgyz culture but is “glad her mother is out of the picture”. Her mother did eventually go to prison but unfortunately for a reason that wasn’t her abuse so justice is questionable. She has recently met Mel’s mother and has a high respect, considering her much more of a mother than what she ever had. Recently [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] has heard from news that an abuser who resembled Mel’s was killed in self-defence, but the deceased’s name was not released to the public, so she has no idea whether it was him or another abuser. She’s kept silent on this however to avoid the possibility of saying misinformation.

She is otherwise not a villainiser so she doesn’t want to villainise [name_f]Jane[/name_f] but has kept a close eye around her children to avoid them associating with some of the bad habits she does, especially since her children are both still juveniles. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] has a story behind her that some people wouldn’t tell by looking at her, she used to be an actress. She was acting in her first movie at 14 after really wanting to do it and having a bit of a status with being a teen actress. However she never played a main role, instead usually a recurring or ensemble role. Her best role was in her first movie as the best friend of the main character, but she never took centre stage. She had her first child at 24 and did more movies to support her family, but ultimately decided acting wasn’t as fun as it was when she first acted, and her career wasn’t rising after a decade, so she stopped. She went back to university and raised her now-2 children to the best of her abilities after her decision to go to medical school. She’s currently a general surgeon and is grateful for her family for being there for her during her changing times. D-lister to [name_u]Doctor[/name_u]? Not a bad career change!

[name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] has several med school friends, some taking positions in mental health, and one of the school psychologists is a former med school classmate and friend. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] isn’t strict on how her teens date but she’s made codes for her son and daughter on what to do if ever in a dangerous relationship. She does want to know about who they are dating and she was very overjoyed when her daughter wanted to date Mel’s son [name_u]Adrien[/name_u]. She’s told [name_u]Mel[/name_u] though that she’s not going to break any bond they have if their children do break up and reassured that her children aren’t the bitter type when they get dumped or rejected. She’s happy things are going well for them and wishes her daughter and [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] the best. While she and [name_u]Mel[/name_u] are close to their children, [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] didn’t seem to have emotionally invested parents, which gives [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] some belief that this is why [name_f]Jane[/name_f] has grown up as a somewhat bad influence. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] hopes [name_f]Jane[/name_f] could talk this out with her mental health-related former med school classmates and get some support that she was lacking.
