[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is known for her creativity and is often found with a sketchbook in hand, bringing her imaginative ideas to life through colorful illustrations. Her middle name, [name_f]Grace[/name_f], perfectly complements her gentle and compassionate nature. [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] embraces life with enthusiasm, constantly seeking new experiences and cherishing meaningful connections with friends and family. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Charity[/name_f] “Sophie” [name_m]Turner[/name_m] (17) is the youngest sister of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. Instilled with a love for the arts like the rest of her siblings, her passion lies more in theater. A member of the drama club at school, [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is known for her quick sarcastic wit. She loves being the center of attention and cannot wait for graduation next year. To her it seems to be the first step towards her dream of moving to [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]York[/name_u] City and eventually making it big on Broadway. Her family has all the confidence her stubborness, and talent, will allow her to accomplish those ambitions.

[name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] " [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] " [name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_m]Turner[/name_m] (19) is the fourth of the five siblings and diametric opposite of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] where attention’s concerned. There’s nothing [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] hates like being the centre of everyone’s stares and questions, no matter the situation being positive or negative. She’s someone who prefers keeping her head down, focusing on what interests her, and letting things pass her by. The only thing to rouse her from her shell is attempts at dragging her into other people’s business, something [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] absolutely refuses to entertain, and her quiet confidence is always revealed when she has to put her foot down: being one of so many siblings has taught her well in this enterprise. Her parents also contemplated giving her the middle name [name_f]Chastity[/name_f], a name she’s happier to not have on the grounds of the jokes writing themselves.

A fashion design and communication student, Alexia’s style experimentation caused some bemusement for her parents at first. She’s always preferred being bold with her colour choices and isn’t afraid of clashing if there’s a chance it’ll look good, very much being devoted to her individuality and sense of standing out on her own terms. [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] never minds people noticing her outfits as usually they don’t approach her, and if so, she’s almost always in the company of a friend who she can hide behind. Currently at college, Alexia’s caught between enjoying her first taste of independent living and missing her family, as while sharing the space with her sisters’ and brothers’ wasn’t always ideal, their support and the laughter shared has been odd to step away from.

[name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] [name_m]Luck[/name_m] [name_m]Turner[/name_m] (25) is a male [name_m]Turner[/name_m] sibling, who agrees with Alexia’s stance on avoiding attention. However he’s really excited by the youngest Sophia’s intrigue in this, dubbing himself the “Male Cheerleader” of the family. He has no “family role” in terms of his siblings other than that role. He’s been that way since he was a child. Why he still emphasises the “Male” part is still quite cringey but to be fair, that’s the way he was as a child. He has a few longstanding views from then that people don’t quite understand why he defends, such as insisting black liquorice is the best. “It’s the only real one. [name_u]Red[/name_u] is fake, you aren’t a true fan if you don’t like the real thing.” His stance on the middle names changed, he used to hate his middle name because while he wasn’t unlucky, he didn’t have the best luck of his family. He always felt the true luckiest was [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], because things worked out the best for her all the time. But he’s since grown to appreciate his middle name although he feels if he ever has future children, he’s not passing the all-virtue middle name style with them. Maybe he may use the virtue names on future pets, you never know.

[name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] is in meteorology, reason for that was actually a rare and lucky event – he saw a meteor in-person hit their backyard. Why is this lucky? Well, it didn’t harm anyone or damage property, so that’s fortunate enough! He wanted to keep it but his family sold it to a science museum. [name_m]Even[/name_m] now, he still visits that museum and sees that meteorite. He talks to [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] a lot since she’s in college now and he could relate to her not wanting the centre of attention. Although [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] is still very close with people who like the centre of attention so he can always root them on. He enjoys Sophia’s talent and love for performing and as a hobby, he decorates for theatre sets. He likes improv every now and then but still pretty much considers the stage “a [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] thing”. He remembers how his neighbours talked about the family a lot given there’s 5 children and because of that meteorite thing, so he and [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] always stayed away from being around their neighbours, even if it made them seem like the “unknown ones”. Now, he really doesn’t care what others say but he likes to stay as far away from those people as he can and if he can, he will.

[name_m]Marcus[/name_m] [name_u]Valiant[/name_u] [name_m]Turner[/name_m] " MVT " (21) is the third sibling. Like [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] and [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m], he doesn’t enjoy a lot of attention. [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] is an art student at the same college as [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] and is very supportive of her creative fashion choices. People expect [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] and [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] to be the closest since they’re the only boys, but [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] has always had a better relationship with [name_f]Alexia[/name_f]. He gets somewhat annoyed with Nicolas’ need to defend his childhood views and cringes when he calls himself the ‘Male Cheerleader.’ [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] loves his brother, though, and they get along well. [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] has an intriguing nickname himself, bestowed by his best friend. In his friend group, [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] has always been the one people ask for help and advice. He, therefore, became Most Valuable Player, which turned into Most Valuable [name_m]Turner[/name_m], MVT. [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] is the only one of his siblings currently in a relationship. He’s been dating his girlfriend for a year but had a crush since high school. It was a right person, wrong time situation as she was crushing on someone else who she ended up dating for a little bit. [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] is happy with his life and can’t wait until he graduates. He enjoys painting and sketching like [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] but keeps his artwork mostly to himself.

Amanda Jade Skillings (19) is Marcus’ girlfriend. Amanda met Marcus through Sophie, having known her through acting and plays that she also is a part of. Amanda has since graduated high school and is now doing community theater, and is currently performing as Marty Maraschino in the musical Grease, which Sophie is also acting in. Marcus and Amanda get along very well due to their shared interest in helping others and compassionate nature, even though Amanda has a hard time talking to anyone about any problems she might be having, except for her twin sister.

Amanda’s last relationship ended due to her ex feeling as though she wasn’t spending enough time with him, and got extremely jealous of the guy she had to kiss on stage in one her performances, claiming that she was cheating on him with him. The relationship and performance was purely professional, but her ex had trust issues and didn’t believe her, causing them to break up. Amanda started talking to Marcus when she saw Marcus at one of his sisters’ shows, and they got along really well. Marcus understands, unlike her ex, that theater is theater, and any romantic interactions were just a part of the show.

Amanda still has a hard time talking about her feelings and being open with Marcus, which was another thing her ex hated. This isn’t entirely her fault, though. She always was told by her father that emotions are better kept bottled up, as that’s what he did and learned. Her mother isn’t around anymore, and she can’t talk to her father, so the only one she trusts is her twin sister because she’s been around through everything. She is now going to therapy and is working on trying to be more open and communicative in her relationships with Marcus and people around her, but it’s still a work in progress.

Amelia Jane Skillings (19) is the aforementioned trusted twin sister of Amanda Jade Skillings (as even their initials are identical). Due to the ironical nickname of ‘Plain Jane’ (as there is nothing plain about Jane), she is referred to by all as Jane – with the exception of Amanda, who refers to her affectionately as “Bad Idea Lia” (Lia for short), due to Jane’s childhood and current inclination to behave in reckless and impulsive ways.

Throughout life, Jane assumed the role of prankster in childhood, evolving into a troublemaker slash apathetic slacker in her teenage years. Unlike her sister, who found a calling in the theatric extracurriculars, Jane found her place among the drug-indulgent burnout clique throughout highschool, with whom she fell in with at a young age during middle school. Spending most of her time with her on-the-fringe, riotous group of friends with whom she developed familial-level bonds, Jane very much makes enormous successful efforts to make time to converse and be with Amanda on a consistent basis. Despite her predilection of disappearing for a few days or sometimes weeks at a time to engage in substance experimentation and inebriation with her friends-become-family connections, she always finds a way to establish communication with Amanda.

While Amanda confides in Jane regarding emotions and life experiences, Jane does not return this notion due to her fierce desire to protect Amanda at all costs from anything she feels may cause Amanda any averse emotion. Jane has also very much internalized the bottle-up-emotions sentimentality instilled by their faither, which resulted in her tendency to deny, deaden or escape her own feelings by indulging in drugs or looking for solace in the bottoms of alcohol bottles.

Despite the criminality-adjacent nature of Jane’s actions and selections of friends, there very much resides a soft, sensitive and compassionate heart under the exterior walls of defenses she has created. She often currently struggles with the inability to identify her emotions or even acknowledge current obstacles due to the persistent habit of compartmentalizing emotions and escaping the harsh realities of her home life. These fortified walls of defense precipitated the development of presenting as blunt, harsh, and indifferent to others while simultaneously creating a demeanor and series of idiosyncrasies of a fervidly carefree yet charming disposition which seem to captivate those who stumble into and find themselves in her vicinity, oftentimes to a fault.

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Katrina[/name_f] [name_u]Decker[/name_u] (19) is one of Jane’s oldest friends, albeit their relationship has ups, downs and lots of complexities, none of which are hidden much from the world. Quietly cynical, [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] tends to view the world through a lens of pessimism, although she’s moved on from her high school period of [name_m]Chief[/name_m] Officer [name_m]Misery[/name_m] [a charming nickname assigned by the boy who sat next to her in chemistry] and instead it’s a quick comment rather than a monologue about despair that greats others now. She’s in the midst of attending community college to obtain a degree in [name_f]English[/name_f] Literature, while working at a 27/4 gas station for extra cash, something she’s surprisingly good humoured about given the typical reception Hadley’s other jobs received.

Throughout middle school, [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] typically appeared the follower to Jane’s unlikely leader: she was quieter, seemingly nervous at sudden intervals, and there was a needy quality to how she treated her friend [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. The fact the other girl would often disappear, of course, deeply upset [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], who wanted a consistent friend embroiled in a similar lifestyle to herself. While she had other friends in their circle, none of them had the degree of insight into her home life that [name_f]Jane[/name_f] received, increasing Hadley’s emotional dependence on her.

Hadley’s childhood was dominated by the absolute fear of her father. He subjected her mother to physical violence often, and although she and her younger brother were never hit, it was verbal abuse they received. When she was nine, her mother finally left him, moving into a women’s shelter with [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and her brother. In spite of being away from him, [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] still dreads the idea of encountering her father, something she hasn’t told anyone other than her mom. This isolation regarding her background drives more of her dismissive tendencies, and she’s one of the few people who’s immune to Jane’s lure of whimsy, not exactly a point of pride, but given their tumultuous tweenage years, Hadley’s happier to have this clarity.

[name_u]Adrien[/name_u] [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] [name_u]Decker[/name_u] (17) is Hadley’s little brother. He’s a rising senior and can’t wait until he graduates. [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] plans to go to college like his sister. He got a scholarship to their state’s college and will major in computer science. [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] works at the animal shelter and often says since he can’t have a pet, this is the next best thing. He, [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], and their mom live in an apartment building that doesn’t allow pets, something he complained about when he was younger. [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] is very protective of his mom because of the physical violence she endured from his dad. He often feels guilty about not being able to stop his dad from hurting his mom and [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], despite being a child at the time. After telling his mom about these feelings a few years ago, she got him into therapy. [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] is very grateful because it’s helped him a lot.

[name_u]Adrien[/name_u] doesn’t exactly dislike [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but he’s not that fond of her. He’s glad [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] has someone she can talk to but hates that she’s so dependent on [name_f]Jane[/name_f], who isn’t exactly dependable. Jane’s blunt and harsh manner doesn’t sit well with [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] either, so he avoids her as much as possible, which isn’t that hard to do. At school, [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] is often at the center of attention because he’s on the football team. It’s not something he necessarily likes, and some people think he’s stuck up because he prefers to be around his close friends. [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] is closest to two other boys on the football team and another boy on the debate club. He recently started dating a girl at school, and his mom has invited her for dinner. [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] hopes [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] will be there because he wants her to meet his girlfriend.

[name_f]Melinda[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] “Mel” [name_u]Decker[/name_u] (39) is the mother of [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_u]Adrien[/name_u]. She was in an abusive relationship with their father for a good portion of their life, but she finally thankfully got the nerve to leave him. It was actually when she noticed the impact the man was having on her two children that she decided she would never let anyone hurt them again. She got full custody with no visitation rights from their father, but he unfortunately was never convicted for his crimes. He thankfully lives somewhere in [name_u]California[/name_u] now whereas the [name_u]Decker[/name_u] family resides in Wisconsin along with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and her sister, so the chances of [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] having his fear of seeing his father again unlocked is relatively slim, which is something Adrien’s therapist reassures him of.

[name_u]Mel[/name_u] has several friends who she has met through her domestic violence survivor support group that help her overcome the trauma and fear that was associated with her ex-husband, and her subsequent weariness of men that she didn’t know well. Her mother was also an abuse victim, so she guesses it runs in the family.

[name_u]Mel[/name_u] knows [name_f]Jane[/name_f] well, and isn’t totally a fan of her either, sharing opinions with her son on the matter. She always felt [name_f]Jane[/name_f] was a bad influence on [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], and was worried about her tendency to do drugs and party and what that would mean for her daughter. She understands that not everyone has the same path, but she wants her daughter to do well, and she always worries. [name_u]Mel[/name_u] is proud of [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] for his scholarship as well as his family values, and is always looking for ways to support him and [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] through anything they might need.

@go_ask_alice [name_m]Hi[/name_m] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! [name_u]Welcome[/name_u]! :wave:

Warning for abuse and self-defence killing.

Dr. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] [name_f]Masha[/name_f] Osmonov (41) is Mel’s friend and on a positive note, the mother of Adrien’s new girlfriend and the male friend of [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] on the debate team. She lives by [name_u]Mel[/name_u], sometimes visiting her since her daughter dated Mel’s son, just to check in on [name_u]Mel[/name_u] and make sure she is okay. She emigrated as a little girl from the Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic (now Kyrgyzstan) with her father and sister to escape abuse the three faced from their mother. She’s still close with her Kyrgyz culture but is “glad her mother is out of the picture”. Her mother did eventually go to prison but unfortunately for a reason that wasn’t her abuse so justice is questionable. She has recently met Mel’s mother and has a high respect, considering her much more of a mother than what she ever had. Recently [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] has heard from news that an abuser who resembled Mel’s was killed in self-defence, but the deceased’s name was not released to the public, so she has no idea whether it was him or another abuser. She’s kept silent on this however to avoid the possibility of saying misinformation.

She is otherwise not a villainiser so she doesn’t want to villainise [name_f]Jane[/name_f] but has kept a close eye around her children to avoid them associating with some of the bad habits she does, especially since her children are both still juveniles. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] has a story behind her that some people wouldn’t tell by looking at her, she used to be an actress. She was acting in her first movie at 14 after really wanting to do it and having a bit of a status with being a teen actress. However she never played a main role, instead usually a recurring or ensemble role. Her best role was in her first movie as the best friend of the main character, but she never took centre stage. She had her first child at 24 and did more movies to support her family, but ultimately decided acting wasn’t as fun as it was when she first acted, and her career wasn’t rising after a decade, so she stopped. She went back to university and raised her now-2 children to the best of her abilities after her decision to go to medical school. She’s currently a general surgeon and is grateful for her family for being there for her during her changing times. D-lister to [name_u]Doctor[/name_u]? Not a bad career change!

[name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] has several med school friends, some taking positions in mental health, and one of the school psychologists is a former med school classmate and friend. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] isn’t strict on how her teens date but she’s made codes for her son and daughter on what to do if ever in a dangerous relationship. She does want to know about who they are dating and she was very overjoyed when her daughter wanted to date Mel’s son [name_u]Adrien[/name_u]. She’s told [name_u]Mel[/name_u] though that she’s not going to break any bond they have if their children do break up and reassured that her children aren’t the bitter type when they get dumped or rejected. She’s happy things are going well for them and wishes her daughter and [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] the best. While she and [name_u]Mel[/name_u] are close to their children, [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] didn’t seem to have emotionally invested parents, which gives [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] some belief that this is why [name_f]Jane[/name_f] has grown up as a somewhat bad influence. [name_f]Snezhana[/name_f] hopes [name_f]Jane[/name_f] could talk this out with her mental health-related former med school classmates and get some support that she was lacking.

Altynai " [name_f]Alta[/name_f] " [name_f]Yara[/name_f] Osmonov (17) is Snezhana’s daughter and [name_u]Adrian[/name_u] Decker’s girlfriend. With a name meaning “golden moon”, [name_f]Alta[/name_f] appreciates how her mother wanted to be apparent that her daughter meant so much to her. The affection [name_f]Alta[/name_f] always expresses for her mother surprises people as she’s usually quite reserved. PDA absolutely isn’t something to expect of [name_f]Alta[/name_f] if you become involved with her, which actually led to her and [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] becoming close initially, as they both had felt expectations were placed on them to be open in ways that didn’t suit them. As a couple, they’ve bonded over humour, and have a dozen in-jokes, an alternately maddening thing for people to witness, given the context and absolute intricacy some of their humour’s built upon.

The projection of cynicism Alta’s associated with means she’s not exactly popular in a traditional sense. She greatly values her small, tight-knit group, however the complexities of her family background means [name_f]Alta[/name_f] takes her time opening up to new people. Part of it’s because she fears going through a friendship similar to [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and Jane’s: where she feels close to someone, only for them to be inconsistent in availability and flighty. [name_f]Alta[/name_f] doesn’t expect or demand undying loyalty though, she just wants people to be upfront so her relationships can develop heathily, and no-one presents with false promises. The one time [name_f]Alta[/name_f] was faced with this, she had a particularly icy response to the betrayal of consistency, which has led to some peers unfairly deeming her cold - when really there were nuances behind the fallout.

Alta’s heritage is also important to her, and she’s petitioned to the local government to have history and geography classes become more inclusive in the focus of teaching content. When she was younger, [name_f]Alta[/name_f] sometimes felt she had to justify her cultural background, thanks to Kyrgyzstan being less well-known [some of her classmates hadn’t even heard of it, which shocked [name_f]Alta[/name_f] in childhood]. She’s also feeling more torn about her future: journalism is where she wants to end up, but media - specifically discussing fashion and besuty - opposed to awareness of lesser known countries are warring internally for [name_f]Alta[/name_f] right now, with her not wanting to dismiss either too soon, should she regret her path choice.

[name_u]Chandler[/name_u] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] “Chana” [name_m]Stetson[/name_m] (16) has been Alta’s best friend since preschool. Extremely empathetic, she is one of the few people who can understand the reasons behind Alta’s stiff exterior. Being the more outgoing of the pair, it was surprising to her when feelings of jealously sprang up when [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] became a bigger part of the picture. She was not used to having to share Alta’s free time, so it took awhile for her to warm up to the idea of their relationship. Now, she is thrilled to see her friend happy.

While [name_f]Alta[/name_f] is wavering about her future, [name_f]Chana[/name_f] has had her plans for after graduation in place since she was ten years old. And she is well on her way, having already received her early entrance into the sculpture program at MICA. She knows moving so far away from everyone she loves will be hard, but she would be stupid to give up on this chance-of-a-lifetime to study at such a prestigious university.

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_m]Stetson[/name_m] (13) is the younger sister of [name_f]Chana[/name_f]. She loves her older sister and [name_f]Alta[/name_f], but hates the studious attitude of her big sister. She and [name_f]Chana[/name_f] have 2 more little siblings, a brother and a sister, and she spends a lot of her time watching them so [name_f]Chana[/name_f] can study.

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] loves to play volleyball and sing. She’s been in the last 3 plays at her middle school, and did most of the ones at her elementary school. She joined a volleyball team when she was 9, and has been playing ever since. She is hoping to get on varsity next year when she goes to high school.

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] is the most extroverted someone can be. She has too many friends to count and she’s super close with all of them. She has a tighter friend group of course, with 4 other girls. Her best friend and her love to talk about guys and watch chick flicks. They are constantly face timing and hanging out. Since she lives in a single-parent home, [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] is always with her friends due to not wanting to be in that stressful environment.

[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] also has been crushing on a boy lately, and while her friends think he likes her, she isn’t quite sure and hasn’t acted on it yet. After all, she’s only in 8th grade. This boy however, has been a friend of hers for a bit; since they had some classes together last year. Now, they have a few classes together and he often visits her and her friends at lunch.

[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] Wyatts (13) is Kennedy’s friend, though not her best friend. They have slightly different interests, but they share with each other and respect each other’s interests. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] has her own best friend with who she watches her favorite shows with, such as The Mortal Instruments, and Supernatural. She mostly talks to [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] in school, but they do enjoy talking about [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] together. So while [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] may not be the closest, they do have mutual interests and bond over having a slightly different living situation.

[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is an only child, but has a sibling-like relationship to her cousins. Her paternal grandfather lives in the house with them, and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is very close to him and loves to play cards with him and listen to his stories of when he was in the war. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] will be devastated if anything happened to her grandfather, as well as her pet chinchilla, Wendigo (she has an interest in supernatural beings like the wendigo and the fae, which she often likes to write about in her stories.)

[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is most often watched by her grandfather, as her mother is a lawyer and is often away from home at work, and her father left [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] when she was a baby, so that’s why she’s an only child. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] overall is a happy child though, and loves spending time with her best friend and talking to [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] about [name_u]Twilight[/name_u], though she isn’t as popular as [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] because of her slightly nerdy interests. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] doesn’t have any crushes on boys yet, instead focusing on her shows as well as her grades.

[name_f]Cecile[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f] Danhurst (16) is one of Quinn’s cousins, being the daughter of her dads’ older sister. The eldest of three children, who’s sibling closest in age is 10, [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] very much fits a ‘big sister’ role in the life of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as well, providing her insight into the teenage world and keeping her informed about the ongoings of her high school. Cecile’s careful though, making sure that [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] doesn’t encounter anything too grown up, especially as she doesn’t want the notion of dating to dominate her younger cousin’s mind: middle school romances have given [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] enough cringe related trauma for a life time. She dated a boy when she was 12 - progressing to the intensity of holding hands - however things dissolved when he proclaimed his love for [name_f]Cecile[/name_f], something she couldn’t respond to in the manner he hoped as love was as big of a deal to her then as it is now, and she wouldn’t lie to him.

The major love of Ceciles’ life are animals: she’s always been absolutely mad about them, which only intensified after her parents adopted the family rabbits, Spice and [name_f]Tawney[/name_f]. This sparked her desire to work with them properly, and Cecile’s working towards getting the grades to pursue zoology at college. Smaller mammals have remained precious to her, although she’s unable to settle her mind just yet, given how there’s so many options for her to specialise in. As she’s not a natural academic, [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] is a bit more anxious about her accomplishing these goals, meaning she’s been more high strung when it comes to other elements of her life.

Something Cecile’s mom’s been teaching her - to help have a means of relaxing and calming down when she feels concerned about her grades not being enough - is sewing, primarily in the form of repairing stuffed animals, some to donate to charities, others she wishes to keep, for both sentimental reasons and also to pass on to any children she might have someday. This is something [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] doesn’t talk much about though, as she doesn’t want anyone making assumptions or being pursued by a classmate who wants to rush reaching this goal. Alongside her family - especially her parents - Cecile’s incredibly grateful for her friends, who always support her hopes for the future and help her to avoid falling into a pattern of self-doubt and criticism.

[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] (20) is a childhood friend of Cecile’s, having grown up in the same neighborhood. The two formed a strong bond over their love of animals, often playing with Cecile’s rabbits and exploring the nearby woods for wildlife. Harper’s passion for animals led her to pursue a degree in veterinary science, which she is currently studying at a university out of state. Despite the distance, she and [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] remain close, regularly texting and video chatting to share updates on their lives.

In addition to her love of animals, [name_u]Harper[/name_u] is also an accomplished artist. She often sketches and paints portraits of her family’s pets, as well as the various creatures she encounters on her hikes and camping trips. Her art was even featured in a local gallery, which fueled her desire to pursue a career in both veterinary medicine and art. Though she sometimes struggles to balance her two passions, [name_u]Harper[/name_u] is determined to make both work in her life.

[name_u]Harper[/name_u] is an incredibly kind and caring person, always willing to lend a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. She has a deep appreciation for nature and the world around her, which is reflected in both her art and her interpersonal relationships. Despite the challenges she faces as a college student, she remains optimistic and driven, with a bright future ahead of her.

[name_f]Olivet[/name_f] " [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] " [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] Danhurst (10) is someone Harper’s technically known since they were born. The middle child, Lettie’s very determined to make her mark, having a drive to her that emerged the moment she could walk: always on the move. She’s actually happy to have a younger sibling, as it means she can’t be babied as much [well what constitutes as that for [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] abyways], and independence is something she’s very enamoured with currently. People often compare [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] to her dad in terms of her outspoken, forward thinking demeanour, and it’s never something she rejects, having looked up to him for as long as she can remember - helped by the fact he’s always encouraged her without hesitation.

A member of her school’s netball team and a track runner, having won a fair deal of accolades, [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] has thought about maybe seeing if she can become a professional athlete. The fact she’s naturally gifted with sports means [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] can struggle to comprehend Ceciles’ own worries - which can lead to arguments, as [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] isn’t good at mincing her words or being particularly delicate - however she never doubts her sister’s ability to become a zoologist. While she’s never been quite as enamoured with animals as [name_f]Cecile[/name_f], the rabbits are precious to [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], and she won’t let anyone dismiss them in comparison to other pets.

[name_f]Bruna[/name_f] “Roo” [name_u]Joan[/name_u] Danhurst (5) is [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] and Cecile’s little sister. The Danhurst sisters are all far apart in age, bu they still have very close relationships. [name_m]Roo[/name_m] is babied a lot, being so small and sweet and, the little one. People in the community often compare [name_f]Cecile[/name_f], [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], & [name_m]Roo[/name_m] to the popular tv show Full House, in which the three [name_u]Tanner[/name_u] girls are all 5 years apart. While it isn’t as popular anymore, Roo’s parents have watched it with all three of the girls. [name_m]Roo[/name_m] really likes the character [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], who is the youngest. It makes her feel like there is someone like her, and a lot of her mannerisms are similar to the sweet character.

Inevitably, [name_m]Roo[/name_m] can be a bit of a bother to her older sisters. She always wants to be part of the fun and is too little to do a lot of the things her older sisters do. Luckily though, she gets a lot of advice from her older sisters – [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] does not want [name_m]Roo[/name_m] or [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] going through that “cringe trauma” she fell victim to. Sometimes [name_m]Roo[/name_m] doesn’t understand what her sisters are talking about, but still relates it back to her teachers and friends, leading to some…interesting conversations.

[name_m]Roo[/name_m] also loves animals, but is not as trusted with the bunnies yet. She still doesn’t really understand that they aren’t toys, that they are living things. This had led to many a hissy-fit and fights between [name_m]Roo[/name_m] and her eldest sister as well as [name_f]Lettie[/name_f]. Still though, she loves Spice and [name_f]Tawney[/name_f], and is fascinated with Cecile’s love of animals, and currently wants to be a vet – though who knows how long that will last. [name_m]Roo[/name_m] has already been through many different career ideas, a princess, a doctor, a baker, a nail technichian, and a teacher, which was her obsession after meeting her kindergarten teacher this year, Mrs. [name_m]Hill[/name_m].
