Warning for bad parenting and misogyny.
[name_f]Nevata[/name_f] [name_f]Leira[/name_f] [Wyatts] Danhurst (43) is [name_f]Cecile[/name_f], [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], and Roo’s mother, who loves the bunnies and sometimes lets [name_m]Roo[/name_m] look at them without touching them. She limits this though, those cute bunnies are tempting! [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] always makes sure they have enough food and comfort. She works in a hotel, which focuses a lot on guest comfort, and she works with room service, so she loves to make sure the food is worth the order. Nothing makes her happy like seeing the plates empty at the end – she knows the guests loved it and aren’t wasting food. [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] is a pet lover although deep down, she’ll never buy fish. She knows they don’t live as long as other pets, especially after a personal experience as a child that she learned the hard way. Her parents never told her as a kid when her goldfish died. They just secretly replaced it with another one. When that goldfish died, they repeated the process. There was a time when [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] caught on, seeing and disbelieving her goldfish was “just sleeping”. Finally her parents told her the fish was dead, but waited until she was older to tell her about the replacements. She’s had a rocky relationship with them over that, because they were the type of parents who were afraid to tell their children serious topics and would avoid at all costs rather than be honest. They got divorced, but only after [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] and her brother were adults because they believed the kids would never understand divorce. She and her brother used to be close but then strayed away when he stopped making efforts to talk to her. [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] didn’t want to compete with her brother and act like “the better sibling” but she wanted him to do his part…even if he always yelled that he “didn’t think he should do more than he had to!”
[name_f]Nevata[/name_f] is happily married, and she’s thankful for the Danhurst side of the family. She’s always one for reducing stress, which she bonds best with [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] about. [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] always buys holiday gifts in [name_u]November[/name_u], ironic since she likes to joke about businesses putting holiday stuff up in [name_u]November[/name_u], but it’s so she can have all of [name_u]December[/name_u] to be joyful and not have to stress! Meanwhile her brother is the type to make excuses for not buying gifts at all. She feels Full House was her fave childhood show because it was a funny family sitcom, but the family layout wasn’t entirely traditional and it was her only way to understand tough topics in an age-appropriate way. She knew she had to get her children into it and she’s glad they are, especially [name_m]Roo[/name_m]. She wishes she could watch it with her brother but she and her brother don’t get along and rarely contact – this being because he abandoned [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] doesn’t defend her brother on any of this and can share information on her brother if [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] wants to hear, but is perfectly content if she wants no focus on the man who ran from her. [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] wants to be a cool aunt to [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and likes Quinn’s mother, who is a rock fan and both she and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] have cool dyed hair. [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] understands the cool aunt life – her bestie is the aunt of [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Monroe[/name_u]! According to Nevada’s brother on the reason why he won’t raise [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], it’s because, “I don’t understand why men need to sacrifice their lives and put things on hold for a child. It’s selfless, but it’s naïve.” [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] strongly disagrees, feeling he is giving the misogynist vibe that a man doesn’t have to be active whereas he never said the same about women. He also acts like being an active parent is for the selfless, even though [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is his biological daughter and should be equally cared for. After that, he cut [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] and her family off too, but she didn’t want to have his negativity around anyway. Nevata’s husband would never stand for that attitude especially since he’s a very confident person who loves to feel like he’s doing great for his daughters daily. Both of them approve Mrs. [name_m]Hill[/name_m] as Roo’s kindergarten teacher since she is a positive influence and role model. [name_f]Nevata[/name_f] uses her life for fun outside family and career, such as going to the local fish pond just to relax and see fish swim more freely and live better, but she also finds joy in taking the family with her so they can have fond memories there.
