I personally prefer [name_m]Calum[/name_m] just because it looks less “bulky” to me if that makes sense

I see them being pronounced differently so I like both…
[name_u]Callum[/name_u] sounds like callum and [name_m]Calum[/name_m] sounds like caylum

I first encountered the name while reading Noughts & Crosses as a child. As such, the spelling [name_u]Callum[/name_u] has always looked better.
