Calvin?

Opinions on the name [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]? It’s grown on me lately and I adore nn [name_u]Cal[/name_u]. However, I feel like I don’t see it much on this site. I categorize it with names like [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], etc that are coming back into style and I see mentioned a lot here. I know the meaning isn’t great but I don’t care much about that. Does [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] go with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] and [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]Everest[/name_u]?

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it and think it goes great with the other two!

[name_m]Calvin[/name_m] is so handsome! I always recommend it when I can, I don’t get why it’s so underappreciated on nameberry. It has a nice sound and is familiar but not common. Plus [name_u]Cal[/name_u] is the cutest. I love [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] with the other two names.

[name_m]Calvin[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] is a great combo! I immediately think of [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] Klein (but that isn’t a bad association)

That sounds great! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]!

[name_m]Calvin[/name_m] is so cool.

I love the name [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and I think it goes well with the others!

A lovely combination! Goes well with siblings name’s too. I think [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] is a very handsome name.

I’ve always liked [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]. It’s familiar to everyone but at the same time it’s not overly common, and the [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] Klein association gives it a fashionable edge. I think it sounds fine with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Judah[/name_m].

The meaning does not bother me either - plenty of common names (like [name_u]James[/name_u]) have unflattering meanings and nobody really notices.

Our oldest son is [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] (5 y/o) and we have loved the name. We call him [name_u]Cal[/name_u] too which is a great nn. I love that it is a known name but not common. The meaning is a little silly of course, but no one will know that right off the bat!

Like [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and goes well with other two names but don’t think it goes well with [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m].
