Cambelle or Campbell?

Pretty sure we are going with this name for our baby girl due in 6 weeks, but need opinions on spelling. Middle name [name_u]Lou[/name_u] (family name) last name Stull. We’ll probably call her [name_u]Cam[/name_u] or [name_f]Cami[/name_f] for short, but also like that she could chose to go by [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_f]Elle[/name_f] when she gets older. Thoughts??

[name_u]Campbell[/name_u] Stull sounds really off to me. What about [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], Carraway, Abington, Arden or [name_u]Ellery[/name_u]?

[name_u]Campbell[/name_u]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] with the standard spelling, she can still go by [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_f]Elle[/name_f].

Definitely [name_u]Campbell[/name_u]. Cambelle looks made up/misspelled to me. As long as you don’t mind the ambiguity of [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u]. The nicknames will solve that issue. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestion of [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]… and there’s my favorite ‘bel’ name, [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. Good luck!

I would choose [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] of these two options.

If you’re going to go with [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] please spell it with the original spelling.

[name_u]Campbell[/name_u]-- no sense in frou-frouing up a common surname. If you want something fancy, go with [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] or [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] or anything feminine.

Please use [name_u]Campbell[/name_u].

I think the original spelling makes the most sense.
