I am really all over the place with names! Recently I was posting about [name]Roxane[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] and full forms for the name [name]Maisie[/name]…but today I am wondering if you think [name]Cameron[/name] on a girl would be nice. I [name]ADORE[/name] the nickname [name]Cammie[/name], and if you don’t like [name]Cameron[/name] on a girl, what other names would you prefer to get to [name]Cammie[/name]? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance!
[name]Camille[/name] or [name]Camelia[/name]? I prefer [name]Cameron[/name] on a boy, but it works on a girl ([name]Cameron[/name] [name]Diaz[/name]!!).
I’m like you, I adore a different name every day. Makes it hard to name [name]Baby[/name]!!
[name]Camille[/name]. [name]Cameron[/name] will always be a boys name to me.
I also like [name]Camille[/name], and [name]Camilla[/name] to get the [name]Cammie[/name] nn. [name]Cameron[/name] can work for a girl, and I know someone who is naming their daughter [name]Camryn[/name], so it isn’t unheard of. I prefer it for a boy though.
I like [name]Cameron[/name] nn [name]Cammie[/name].
I do like [name]Cameron[/name] for a girl, and the nn [name]Cammie[/name] is really sweet!
why would [name]Maisie[/name] need a full name? [name]Cameron[/name] is ok but [name]Cammie[/name] is very close to clammy
I know a female [name]Camryn[/name]. Perhaps I associate that spelling with her, but to me, it’s more feminine than [name]Cameron[/name]. [name]Cameron[/name] is masculine to me while [name]Camryn[/name] seems more girly.
I don’t like it, but then again, I don’t like [name]Cameron[/name] period. I prefer [name]Camille[/name].
I like [name]Cameron[/name] for either gender; don’t like [name]Camryn[/name]
[name]How[/name] about [name]Cambria[/name]?
I have a dear, darling, second cousin named [name]Cameron[/name]. I think it’s cute and peppy for a girl, but it still fits a grown woman.
Go with [name]Cameron[/name]!
I know of an adorable little girl named [name]Camryn[/name] through the blogging world. She is so sweet and uses [name]Cami[/name]. I adore the nickname [name]Cami[/name], much prefer it spelled like that over [name]Cammie[/name] for some reason. Though the spelling of a nickname is not that important I suppose. [name]Cameron[/name] or [name]Camryn[/name] work fine for me. Usually I don’t like spellings with y’s as much but in this case I actually think its cute.
Personally [name]Camilla[/name] is making it to my list so I can use [name]Cami[/name].
I love [name]Cameron[/name] for a girl. I dislike the nickname [name]Cammie[/name], but that’s just my taste. I think [name]Cameron[/name] is adorable.
Other [name]Cam[/name]- names that could get [name]Cammie[/name]:
[name]Camelia[/name]
[name]Cambria[/name]
[name]Cambrie[/name]
I am not a fan, sorry. A friend of a friend just named her baby boy [name]Cameron[/name] just today, and so when I saw your title it actually jarred me–I had forgotten completely that [name]Cameron[/name] still gets fairly consistent usage on girls! It strikes me as so masculine, especially since I now know 3 little boy Camerons/Kamerons and no little girl Camerons. [name]Cammie[/name] is cute, though, and I think [name]Camilla[/name]/[name]Camille[/name] nn [name]Cami[/name]/[name]Cammie[/name] is adorable.
My friend almost named her baby girl, [name]Camryn[/name]. I like the nn [name]Cami[/name]. But I would have to say I like [name]Camille[/name] better.
I named my daughter [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] (traditional spelling) because it was my favorite name for boy or girl. She has the nn [name_f]Cami[/name_f] and Camo and Camelot and camelittle and CamCam and just plain [name_u]Cam[/name_u]. I liked every nn that came with the name so it didn’t matter to me what her nn would be. Plus the name fits her to a tee. Shes not a princess type of girl loves to be dirty and outside all of the time so to me she is a tomboy. [name_u]Love[/name_u] her to pieces, now I just have to find a sister name for the LO due [name_u]August[/name_u] 7. Wish me luck
Though [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] and [name_f]Camilla[/name_f]/[name_f]Camille[/name_f] are very separate names, they are both very high on my list of names I wouldn’t use because I really don’t like the meanings. But the meanings may not bother others ([name_f]My[/name_f] understanding is [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] means bent/crooked nose and [name_f]Camilla[/name_f]/[name_f]Camille[/name_f] mean attendant at a sacrifice).
