Can i call my daughter Bonnie?

Opinions on the name [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] not [name_f]Bonita[/name_f].

I had a student named [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]! I think the name is so sweet and I can imagine it on a baby and an adult.

Yeah! I feel like the Bonney spelling looks more like a complete name, but I think [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] could be used as a standalone name and be just fine! It sounds so sweet and happy.

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] has grown on me, despite the fact it is the name of a mean manager at my work lol. I first heard this name in connection with the girl who played [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] Weasley in the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] series, so it feels like a strong yet sweet name of a girl who can take care of herself. Probably because of the actress, this name feels pretty English to me. I like it though and it definitely can be used as a stand alone name.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]! Agree with pp it sounds so sweet  It’s one of my favourites too.

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] is very cute and super wearable! Go for it =)

definitely! I was at school with someone called [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f]

I went to school with a girl named [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and that was back in the 70’s so why not… I like it. It’s cute…

I like it  I’ve only come across it once, I knew her as a teenager but can totally imagine it on an adult!

Yes! I named my daughter [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] last year… [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I never get tired of saying or hearing the name [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]… we call her BonBon as a nickname. <3

[name_m]Don[/name_m]‘t see why not. It’s an adjective where I live (used with a lot of working-class-dialect pride) so thats’ my main association, but it’s definitely not a bad one. It’s much prettier than [name_f]Bonita[/name_f] anyway.

Yes of course you can use it. I can’t see why not. I prefer it to [name_f]Bonita[/name_f], which in Spanish is a word meaning pretty, not a name.

Yes! Of course you can. I know a grown-up [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], one of the coolest ladies I’ve had the pleasure to meet and a 4-year-old [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] who is adorable. Go for it!

I love [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]! I’ve known a few [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]'s and always loved it when I heard it. I dislike [name_f]Bonita[/name_f].

It’s definitely a name I wish I heard more!
Very attractive!

I’ve only ever seen [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] as a stand-alone name.

I’m friends with a [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]! She’s 16 and wears it perfectly. I love it.

I was unsure on this name but after watching TVD and falling in love with the character [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], I think it is entirely usable. It’s sweet and endearing, easy to spell and easy to say and I think it ages well as I can imagine it on a baby, a child, a teen, a middle aged woman, and a grandma.

Also, I’ve known a [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and a [name_f]Bonita[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and I personally prefer [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] as a stand alone name.

Although it isn’t a personal favourite of mine I do think it makes a great name. I came across a baby [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] recently and I thought it was refreshing as you don’t meet many
