I love the names [name_m]Miles[/name_m]/[name_m]Milo[/name_m], but my OH has said absolutely not to [name_m]Milo[/name_m] (it’s a powdered chocolate drink in Aus/NZ where we grew up) so I’m hoping [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is still usable.
I think it is fine to use, and it sounds rather good with your surname. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] - it’s very catchy.
I live in Australia and while I do think milo would bring up the drink association- miles is perfectly fine. I think it’s a great choice.

I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] is a cool name! I also had [name_m]Milo[/name_m] on our list but my Aussie hubby reminded me of the drink ( i’m not aussie) and said no way!
Honestly… I didn’t even associate [name_m]Miles[/name_m] as directional until you brought it up! I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] is super cute. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t let “[name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]West[/name_u]” ruin your dream! Those people are the crazy ones. 
[name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] is totally usable! I didn’t think it was directional at all until you mentioned it. I’m Canadian and we don’t use miles though, so [name_m]Miles[/name_m] in general doesn’t bring to mind the measurement.

I recognize the connection, but it’s not so blatant that it seems weird. I think you’re okay. It’s not like a crazy pun or anything.
I know a couple whose new babies name sounds like “I [name_u]Love[/name_u] You” when said (fn/ln), and I think it’s cute though definitely punny.
