Hello~ laddies and gentlemen, I’m not pregnant at the moment but I’m trying for a baby after I graduate University.
I am baby planning ahead of time.
There are some names I’ve sorta picked out but would like some opinions on them.
Maybe naming them after family members.
Family names to work with.
Grandma, [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]. (My name is [name_f]Jade[/name_f].)
Grandma, [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f].
Mom, [name_f]Cori[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
Dad, [name_u]Sheldon[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. (Goes by [name_u]Nick[/name_u].)
Step Dad, [name_m]Eric[/name_m] [name_m]Donald[/name_m].
Uncle, [name_u]Chris[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m].
Aunt, [name_f]Cindy[/name_f].
Nephew, Tyson Lucas.
Nephew, Everet Asher.
There are more family members but these names just haven’t been used in the next generation so far.
Middle names can’t be [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f] or [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], since me and my Sisters already claimed those ones. Last name is Peltier. Pronounced Pehlshay.
Alternative versions of the original names are welcomed on this thread since I’m also trying to be unique. Searching for more girl names starting with [name_m]Ed[/name_m] and maybe Ev for my Uncle [name_u]Chris[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and Nephew Everett Asher.
Girl,
Eirwen Laurie Peltier?
(Laurie is another Aunt.)
Boy,
Donoven Marcus Peltier.
Alternative for Donald.
For boys, how about [name_u]Nico[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] or [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]?
For girls [name_f]Edwina[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] or even [name_f]Edda[/name_f]/[name_f]Etta[/name_f] might work. [name_f]Edda[/name_f]/[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] sounds nice in my head.
I wouldn’t use [name_m]Nickolai[/name_m]. It says to me ‘hi! My mom is an American who can’t spell any non-English names correctly, and also thinks a nickname has to be spelled out in the name for it to be used!’ [name_m]Nicolai[/name_m] and [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] are both fine.
I’m not fan of Kricia. It’s both invented and dated at the same time. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Krista[/name_f]?
My family is a bunch of Canadians. Not a fan the name [name_f]Krista[/name_f] either but I’ve thought about using [name_f]Kristy[/name_f] or [name_f]Kristine[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] some spellings I prefer more than the classics because I’m trying to be unique.
