[name_u]Ollie[/name_u] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are a bit close for me. I love [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] though and I adore nn [name_u]Mattie[/name_u]! My second choice would be [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. A lovely name and nn.[name_f]Emme[/name_f] is adorable.
I voted for [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] & [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. I much prefer the nickname Lo to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] for [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], though - between all the little girls named [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] (plus the ones just named [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], which is itself a top-50 name) etc., there are so many Ellies running around. Same with strongly preferring [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] to [name_u]Mattie[/name_u], because of the many girls named [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_u]Madison[/name_u] who go by [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]!
I voted [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] for [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]'s sister. I love [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] too, but feel like the first two feel more fresh and youthful (not that they don’t grow well), just like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] as a sibset! [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is such a lovely name :). (She could also go by [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f], or [name_f]Lia[/name_f] if she didn’t like [name_f]Emmie[/name_f].)
I think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is lovely but I prefer it on its own rather than the nn of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] which seems ordinary in comparison. If [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] happens to be called [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] as a nn then I think [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are too close in sounds.
Thanks for all the replies and votes! I think I will take [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] off the list. Hopefully once she is born we will get a clearer picture of what her name will be. I definitely feel more confident in these name combos!
I just adore [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]! I would use the nickname [name_f]Tillie[/name_f], although I prefer the spelling [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]. Great choices!
