So car names are common in my family.
We have a [name_f]Porsha[/name_f], [name_f]Alexus[/name_f], & Im after a Corvette.
Boys names seem easier, I love [name_m]Bently[/name_m].
Anyone have any ideas for girl car names?
Not a huge fan of using material products as names, but I happen to love the name [name_f]Jetta[/name_f]. I also like Tesla (though after scientist [name_f]Nikola[/name_f] Tesla, not the the car), though prefer it on a boy, it could work on a girl. Impala is kind of cute.
I beg of you, don’t use [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f].
There are some nice car names out there. The key is that they have to age well and not just be associated with the car brand. We don’t want a child to be saddled with a ridiculous name. Car names that are words or place names would work well.
[name_u]Sierra[/name_u] (place name)

Chevrolet nn [name_m]Chevy[/name_m] or [name_f]Letty[/name_f]

[name_f]Avalon[/name_f]. Im loving it.
Your family seems to like luxury cars so here it goes
this is a link to luxury car names
Every Luxury Car Brand Identity, Defined
I like [name_f]Audi[/name_f] but maybe spelt [name_f]Audey[/name_f]/[name_u]Audy[/name_u]… ie more reminscent of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
or even Maserati I am really liking

[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t forget [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] (for a boy, of course).
I like [name_u]Lexus[/name_u]!
Omg
Ferrari nickname [name_f]Farrah[/name_f] or Fia
I also think Kia is the most usable car name
but it isn’t quite the luxury car.
[name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] is a beautiful name and was one long before there was a car!
[name_m]Aston[/name_m] is a great boy’s name. We knew a [name_u]Shelby[/name_u] (for the designer) - he was a boy but I could see it on a girl too!
Please spell [name_m]Bently[/name_m] as [name_u]Bentley[/name_u], especially if you’re naming your child for the car.
An ex of mine had a friend with a daughter named Chevelle, a la [name_m]Chevy[/name_m] [name_f]Chavelle[/name_f].
[name_f]Kia[/name_f] is the most usable, in my opinion, along with names like [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] or [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] that are also real names. There’s also [name_u]Echo[/name_u], Elantra, and [name_f]Sonata[/name_f], though none of these are luxury cars.
It’s not a car, but what about [name_f]Vespa[/name_f]?
That’s a very interesting trend to have in a family. I think it’s important to keep in mind that the name is also practical.
Some of my favorite name/cars:
[name_f]Audi[/name_f] (I would use it as nickname for [name_u]Auden[/name_u] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].)
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f] (I like the nn. [name_f]Mina[/name_f], [name_f]Lina[/name_f], [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], [name_f]Mini[/name_f]. I feel like there’s a lot you can do with it. It also feels like a real name for a person.)
[name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] (Some people on this message board seem to have forgotten or perhaps they’ve never known that [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] was a name before it was a car.)
I think it’s a lot easier to do with boys names: [name_u]Bentley[/name_u], [name_m]Ford[/name_m], [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m].
LOL. I love [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f]. I can’t imagine naming my child after a car, but [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] is a classic long before the car was made.
Not a car, but there is also Aprilia.
