Carden?

What do you think of [name_u]Carden[/name_u] O’[name_m]Leary[/name_m] for a boy? It’s either of English or Celtic decent meaning wool carver in English and of black fortress in Celtic. We have one son named Aiven.
Other names we have considered are:
[name_m]Weston[/name_m]
Caimin
[name_u]Brayden[/name_u]
[name_m]Connor[/name_m]
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]
[name_u]Rylan[/name_u]
[name_m]Grayson[/name_m]
Aiven is so different that some of the names I am afraid to go with because they are so popular. Thanks for you help!

I really Like [name_u]Carden[/name_u]. It goes well with your son’s name too.

My favorites from the rest of your list are [name_m]Weston[/name_m] and [name_m]Connor[/name_m].

[name_u]Carden[/name_u] is interesting, although I do admit I prefer [name_m]Weston[/name_m] and [name_m]Connor[/name_m]. But it does go with your son’s name, I like the contrast of the hard consonants compared to Aiven’s vowels. Good luck!

I wouldn’t have picked [name_u]Carden[/name_u] out of the name book, but it does sound nice with your surname and seem like a good choice after Aiven. I definitely like it best of your options.

I like it. [name_u]Carden[/name_u] is a fresh choice, and it goes nicely with Aiven.

I’d do the kid a favor and just name him [name_m]Carver[/name_m]. [name_u]Carden[/name_u] is just strange, and I have a pretty good knowledge of Celtic/English names. [name_m]Connor[/name_m] and [name_u]Carter[/name_u] are more common but still better than [name_u]Carden[/name_u]. Maybe consider:

[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]
[name_u]Carson[/name_u]
[name_m]Craig[/name_m] …or pretty much anything but [name_u]Carden[/name_u]!

Aiven and [name_u]Carden[/name_u] would be lovely together!

I have to say, Aiven is an awesome name
I like the others on your list too, but I think they’re too familiar with Aiven. So yeah - I vote [name_u]Carden[/name_u].

Good luck!

I like the name [name_u]Carden[/name_u]. I went to high school with a [name_u]Carden[/name_u] and he was a great guy with lots of personality. It goes well with your last name and makes a good sib-set with your first son. If it were me I would go for it!

I’ve never come across [name]Carden[/name] before, but I think it fits right in with the surname-turned-first-name trend of today. I think it pairs well with [name]Aiven[/name].

I know someone named [name_u]Carden[/name_u] so it doesn’t sound strange to me. I think it flows well with your son’s name and your last name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] glancing at your list, I thought some of those were definitely too popular to use with the awesome Aiven- [name_u]Conner[/name_u], [name_m]Weston[/name_m], [name_u]Braydon[/name_u], [name_m]Grayson[/name_m], etc. I say use [name_u]Carden[/name_u] if you really like it. It just goes well with everything else

Never heard this one before, but I think Aiven and [name_u]Carden[/name_u] are great together!

I quite like [name_u]Carden[/name_u]. It’s a bit unusual, but the sounds in it are very familiar – it’s not far off from [name_u]Camden[/name_u], [name_u]Carter[/name_u], etc. – that it feels like it fits right in with any other American name (while not being worn by ten other kids in the classroom). I think it’s an excellent choice, and I think, of all the names that you have listed, that it goes best with Aiven.

I like [name_u]Carden[/name_u], I think it’s nice and unique.

I also like [name_m]Connor[/name_m] and [name_u]Rylan[/name_u] from your list
