I love them both! i’ve put them in polls so many times (sorry guys) [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] (caro-lee-na) is a representation to my mum who is called [name_f]Carol[/name_f].
but valentina is so beautiful too.
could use [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] ? nn Lena?
I love [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] when pronounced that way and I feel it has the better nn options: [name_f]Carrie[/name_f], [name_f]Carlie[/name_f], [name_u]Caro[/name_u], [name_f]Lina[/name_f], lia, carolie
Valentina is beautiful but [name_u]Val[/name_u] and [name_f]Tina[/name_f] both feel dated
I love [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]! I really like the nickname [name_u]Val[/name_u], even though it does feel a teensy bit dated.
I think [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] is too matchy, [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Carolyn[/name_f]/Caroline could work if you still wanted to honour your mum and keep [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]?
[name_f]Carolina[/name_f] is so sweet and cheerful! And it has so many nicknames. [name_f]Lena[/name_f], [name_f]Carrie[/name_f], [name_u]Caro[/name_u], [name_m]Rollie[/name_m], [name_f]Callie[/name_f], [name_f]Calla[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Lolly[/name_f], [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u]…
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] sounds a bit silly
I would pronounce [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] like Care-uh-line-uh (as in the states, since I’m from the US). [name_f]Karolina[/name_f] tends to be pronounced Care-uh-leen-uh around here more often, at least.
I prefer [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] over [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], personally, but both are nice names!
I love [name_f]Carolina[/name_f]! I also love the nicknames you get from it! I think that [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] is a bit too much of a rhyme but have you thought of [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] or [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]!
I love [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] but that’s my name so I’m super biased. I think [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] is also a great name but they seem too matchy with the same -ina ending
Edit: Just wanted to ask if you’re based in the US or UK? Americans never get my name right but for some reason people in the UK get it right literally every time before I introduce myself. I don’t know why though
Too rhyme-y together, but I like the suggestions of [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] or [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f].
