i knew a carolina who said her name like this in elementary school! because she’s the only one i met (i lied, a teacher had it too but she said it the same way lol) that pronunciation is more “name-like” to me, compared to the pronunciation of the state’s name.
[name_f]Karolina[/name_f] (with the same pronunciation) is my favourite girl name!! I find it really chic, timeless and international and I love all the cute nicknames! The [name_f]Karolina[/name_f] spelling has a more dark academia vibe to me while [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] is maybe a bit more romantic!

[name_f][/name_f] I had her on my list about a decade ago, and got tired of the “Like [name_m]North[/name_m] Carolina?” comments, but it feels very princessy and delicate but strong. [name_f][/name_f] I love the nns [name_f]Cara[/name_f] and [name_f]Lina[/name_f] for it, but she has a ton of other versatile nicknames as well! [name_f][/name_f] I would be tickled pink to meet a little [name_f]Carolina[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] 
Very pretty! As a name I automatically assume your prefered pronunciation but she may have to correct people who aren’t as a familiar and default to the state.
I love [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] with this pronunciation!! She can be soft or spunky depending on how you look at her. [name_m]Wonderful[/name_m] nicknames and wonderful in full!! [name_f][/name_f] Where I’m from, I could see a lot of people getting the pronunciation wrong at first, but I would so so love to meet a little [name_f]Carolina[/name_f].
