Carson for a girl?

So I’m not normally a huge fan of traditionally male names on females, but this might just be an exception. The only hesitation I have with using [name]Carson[/name] for a girl is that it ends in ‘son’… But I just wanted to hear others’ thoughts. Is [name]Carson[/name] on a girl cute or tacky?

I met a little girl named [name]Anna[/name] [name]Carson[/name] btw and thought it was adorable!!

I don’t love it as there are so many pretty girl names out there. I don’t love it for a boy either though. I always think of carciogen…

I do like [name]Anna[/name] [name]Carson[/name]… I think [name]Carson[/name] works for a girl… I know a little girl named [name]Carson[/name] (she is probably about 11 years old) and know no boys with the name…

I have met just as many female [name]Carson[/name]'s as male [name]Carson[/name]'s but I think it fits the males a lot better. All the females seem to be a little tomboyish and I have always figured it was because they had a boy’s name. I think [name]Anna[/name] [name]Carson[/name] is OK. What about [name]Anna[/name] [name]Carly[/name], [name]Anna[/name] [name]Carys[/name], or [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] as a similar alternative?

When I first started working at the daycare, there was a little girl there named [name]Carson[/name]. She’d be about 7 now. I’ve never met a boy named [name]Carson[/name] and so I think it sounds just fine for a girl.

I don’t usually like boyish names on girls, but I actually quite like [name]Carson[/name]. I think, despite having the ‘son’ ending, it reminds me of names like [name]Carla[/name] and [name]Caitlin[/name].

I know two male Carsons and one female [name]Karsyn[/name]. I strongly prefer it on the boys!
