I prefer [name]Carys[/name].
It’s a pretty name, but I don’t particularly love it. It seems like a stereotypical Welsh name to me, like people look for a Welsh name, come across [name]Carys[/name], and don’t really care to look further and see all the other gorgeous Welsh names out there. It’s always sort of reminded me of dust bunnies and ferris wheels, I don’t know, haha, I respect it as a name but I don’t like it very much. I did see [name]Carys[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] nn [name]Cara[/name] once, and I did really like that, though. And I do like your [name]Ophelia[/name] [name]Carys[/name] combo. It just takes the right combo to make it interesting anymore, I think.
This name is gorgeous! I think [name]Carys[/name] is the way to go.

I prefer [name]Carys[/name] over any other spelling. I have a cousin with [name]Karis[/name] as a middle name, so I’m assuming that it’s a variation of [name]Carys[/name]. I think a previous poster had metnioned [name]Ophelia[/name] [name]Carys[/name], which is a very pretty combination.
