I recently heard the name Cashton and fell in love with it. I’d probably us it with the middle name [name_m]Oliver[/name_m].
WDYT of Cashton [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] “[name_m]Cash[/name_m]”?

Cashton isn’t my style. It just looks like [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] with a “C” stuck in front of it. The name [name_m]Cash[/name_m] is crass - it’s tantamount to naming your child Money or Coin. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] Cashton would be my preference. Sorry I don’t really like Cashton.
I really don’t like this, and this is coming from a person who loves the nickname [name_m]Cash[/name_m]. [name_m]Cashel[/name_m] or Lukasz (luke-ash) are better options.
Please don’t. I think [name_m]Cash[/name_m] can be usable (in reference to [name_m]Johnny[/name_m] [name_m]Cash[/name_m]), but Cashton strikes me as vulgar, made-up, trying to be pretentious, etc. (IMHO)
Not a fan of Cashton, but [name_m]Cash[/name_m] & [name_m]Cashel[/name_m] I like
I like [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]- if I wanted to use the nickname [name_m]Cash[/name_m], I would probably go with that.
Cashton=one of the most NMS names I’ve heard. Sorry.
Cashton is annoying. Try [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] instead.
Cashton sounds like a random conglomeration of trendy sounds. Maybe [name_m]Cassian[/name_m]? Or even just [name_u]Ashton[/name_u], which is a little less overdone (aesthetically, not in terms of popularity).
Sorry. I see the appeal, but I don’t recommend using Cashton. I’d use [name_m]Charles[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Cash[/name_m].
After reading the previous responses, I’m a little intimidated to admit that I actually like the name Cashton - sorry. I was almost too hesitant to even respond after so many disapprovals, but then decided to at least let you know you’re not completely on your own in liking it. To me, it sounds very masculine & modern, perfectly paired with the nickname, [name_m]Cash[/name_m]. To be honest, [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] doesn’t feel very masculine to me at all & it’s one of my least favorite names. [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] of [name_f]Narnia[/name_f]. Cashton’s much more appealing to me than either of those two - even if it’s just the two of us sharing that opinion.
I like [name_m]Cash[/name_m], but Cashton seems like a “pick a prefix from column A and suffix from column B” kind of name.
I’m really sorry to say this, but I think it’s awful. Maybe [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] or [name_m]Cassian[/name_m]?
Completely agree with this. I like the suggestion of [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]. Or there’s [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], which has a similar beginning sound and ending sound. Getting the nickname [name_m]Cash[/name_m] from [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] (like the sea, cass-pee-in) isn’t much of a stretch.
I have to agree that Cashton sounds very trendy and annoying, though I know that’s somewhat harsh. [name_m]Just[/name_m] plain [name_m]Cash[/name_m] or [name_u]Ash[/name_u] would be better. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] would be better than Cashton.
