Cass, yea or nay? What about a full name?

I love the name [name_u]Cass[/name_u] for a boy. I think it has kind of a cool coy boy flavor but is also kind of modern. It has the benefit of being different and yet super easy to say, spell, and pronounce. The only draw back is that all the common “full names” for it are female, [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f], [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], etc. I don’t personally think I need a full name, and I don’t like [name_m]Casper[/name_m], so I wanted to hear opinions. Is [name_u]Cass[/name_u] a sturdy enough name in its own right for a boy? Or should I seek a more solid full name? If you have full name suggestions other than [name_m]Casper[/name_m] let me know! [name_m]General[/name_m] thoughts on the name are appreciated

I think [name_u]Cass[/name_u] is usable for a boy. However, if you’re looking for a more full name, [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] or [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] might work.

I like it! I second the suggestions of [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], and [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], and I’ll add [name_m]Cassander[/name_m] and [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m]

How on earth did I forget [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]? [name_f]My[/name_f] only other hang up with [name_u]Cass[/name_u] is that I can’t use my dad’s name as a middle because they are both one syllable, but [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] would be perfect with it! Wdyt of [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Troy[/name_m]?

Caspian [name_m]Troy[/name_m] is fantastic!

Of the traditionally masculine “[name_u]Cass[/name_u]” options, my personal favourite is [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m] (though if we’re being honest, even that doesn’t light my fire). Alternately, I’ve had a pretty big crush on [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] for a boy lately. It strikes me as very wild west, and I love love love [name_u]Cass[/name_u] as a nickname option.

I was thinking of [name_u]Casey[/name_u] nn [name_u]Cass[/name_u]? I think that would be a wonderful alternative! Not sure if you think it’s feminine I honestly prefer it on a boy! I also know of [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]! And even [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m]! I also know of Cassandro but that’s to similar to [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] so you may rule that out!

Cassidy is originally a male name which I actually think is such a handsome choice and a perfect option to that [name_u]Cass[/name_u] as a nickname

Cass is excellent! I love it for a boy.

Cass feels rugged and cool to me.

Caspian, [name_m]Castiel[/name_m], [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], [name_m]Cassander[/name_m], [name_m]Castor[/name_m] and [name_m]Calix[/name_m] could be full names

Cass can definitely work for a boy! The suggestion of [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Troy[/name_m] is just swoon-worthy.

Cashlind, [name_m]Cash[/name_m], Castle, [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], [name_m]Castor[/name_m], or [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] all work as full names!

I absolutely adore it! Short, cool and punchy but with a sensitive side

I’d go for just [name_u]Cass[/name_u], I think, although I love [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] too. [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] on a boy is also great and very fresh and fun.

Cass is alright on it’s own, but I prefer [name_m]Cas[/name_m] (takes out the issue of kids “eliminating” the first letter and creating a cuss word… I grew up with a sports team initials BASS which was printed on hoodies, shirts, etc. Kids LOVED to cover up the B and make fun of them for having that word on their shirt…)

But if you chose a full name, I adore [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m]!!!

I love love love [name_u]Cass[/name_u] for a boy. It’s strong but gentle. I’m definitely into short and simple names, but given [name_u]Cass[/name_u]’s popularity as a nickname for girls, I probably would pick a full name. [name_m]Cassander[/name_m] is my absolute favorite [name_u]Cass[/name_u]- name for boys, and I love [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] as well.

Caspian [name_m]Troy[/name_m] is amazing! Feels a bit mythical, regal and warrior-like, due to [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] & [name_m]Troy[/name_m] from the Iliad/Odyssey.

Caspian [name_m]Troy[/name_m] is super handsome; I love it! I love [name_m]Cas[/name_m]/Cass too. It took me a while to warm up to (I could only imagine it being used as a teen by his friends), but Supernatural helped me love it!

Caspian [name_m]Troy[/name_m] sounds brilliant, like a movie star name, and [name_m]Cas[/name_m] is a great nickname. I have a six month old [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] myself, we usually call him [name_m]Cas[/name_m], [name_f]Cassie[/name_f], [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] [name_m]Bear[/name_m], [name_m]Cap[/name_m] or [name_m]Caspian[/name_m].
