Cassia, Cassidy, or Camilla

Lately been feeling these names. I see Cassia can be pronounced “casha” but I definitely prefer “cass-ee-a” which I think is the way most say it (?).
Also would Cassia fit a blond blue eyed girl?
And do we see any teasing potential? I read some people pointing out the a$$ spelling😬

Cassidy seems to either be a love or hate. I’m not sure how Cassidy ages. However I love Kennedy and this does sound like that! (Already a kennedy in the fam).

Camilla I ADORE and pleased to see it moving up the charts. However her sib is Charlotte. Is that a little “themey?” I live in the US lol.

Love to get some input on these! which do you prefer and why? Thank you so much!

I’ve never heard it pronounced any other way.

I don’t see why not!

I doubt it. Honestly, I didn’t even think of that until you mentioned it, and even now it doesn’t bother me.

I definitely prefer Cassia to the others on your list. It’s a great choice!

I think [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] best goes with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] though I prefer [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] on it’s own. I think [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] ages ok. And [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] as a nn is more common and easily suits a young girl and an adult.

I actually love the name [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]! The a$$ part doesn’t stand out to me at all, as I feel most of the emphasis is directed towards the original ‘C’ and the -ia at the end. The s just flows through.
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] is a name I can see on anyone of any hair / eye color!

[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is not my personal style - but I do know a lot of other berries adore it.

I love the fluidity of [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] - but I do associate it slightly with [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] Cabello.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps, and good luck!

I adore [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] (Cass-ee-a) and the nickname [name_f]Cassie[/name_f], definitely considered it for my baby girl. I know two women named [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] and they’re both great and wear their names well. [name_u]Cass[/name_u] is a nice, more grownup nickname too. And I think all of those would work great for a blond, blue eyed girl. [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is not my style. [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] sounds a little too posh and snobby for me but it might just be my association with a character in a book I read.

I’ve known Cassidys over the years… I’ve never heard anyone point out the a$$ spelling, even when they go by the nickname [name_u]Cass[/name_u]. Both [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] and [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] would age well. Between [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] and [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], I prefer [name_f]Cassia[/name_f].

I do see what your talking about when you mention a theme between [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], but I don’t think it’s that big of deal.

If I had to choose, [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] would be my choice. I also think you couldn’t go wrong with [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] or [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u].

[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] is bright and lovely and I’d pronounce it as you do.

[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is cute and sparky. I like it

[name_f]Camilla[/name_f] is nice and elegant and goes well with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]

[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is my fave

[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] is great, particularly with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] as a sister. I’m in the US and I’ve only ever pronounced it the way you want it pronounced.

[name_f]Camilla[/name_f] is also cute. So that would be my second choice.

I find [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] a bit dated/tired compared to the fresh and energetic [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] so that would be third of your options for me

I don’t think Camilla and Charlotte are tooo similar and Camilla e my fav out of the three and I actually think they would be a great sib set

I like [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] the best!

[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] I feel like could get confusing with the pronunciation. So if you’re already worried about that I might not go that way.
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] I think is cute for a kid, but I can’t see an adult named [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]. It’s also very similar to [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u]. If it’s a distant cousin that’s fine, but if they’re a close family member maybe stay away from that one.
[name_f]Camilla[/name_f] I love. So pretty and fits in great with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]!
