What are your opinions on this name? I think it is very cute but can also work out well for adults. It offers cute nicknames like [name_u]Cass[/name_u] and [name_f]Cassie[/name_f], and maybe even [name_f]Ida[/name_f]. I personally prefer it on girls, probably because of the -y ending. Well, [name_f]TIA[/name_f]!
I love [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], she’s 100% a girls name (I had no idea she was used on boys too). Used to be my number 1 fave! I think you’re right, it works on all ages, and I love that she’d be different from all the [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]'s and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]'s in her class!
I like [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], but I don’t love [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]. I rarely hear it used, so that alone is an added bonus to me. I can picture [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] on a child and teenager, but not so much an adult, probably because I’ve never met an adult [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]. I know 3 girls with the name [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], ages 22, 20, and 16.
I’ve only ever met one [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]. [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ida[/name_f] are super cute nicknames 
I like it on any gender. I like the nickname [name_u]Cass[/name_u], it’s very casual but sweet and intuitive.
All of the Cassidys I know are adult women now. I prefer [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] for a baby, but there’s nothing wrong with [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u].
